The traditional planting tables for this area are quite clear that frost is possible until late May. I've witnessed substantial snowfall as late as May 23. That's why this year is so strange.Damn. We can always count on frost in early june.
It's too bad your wife doesn't share your passion for hiking.I see sunshine this morning. At 0855 it's sunny, 85F with 90% humidity. Forecast high/low of 92/74F with 20% chance of rain today and tonight. 10 day high/low of 92/64F with only 1 day of possible rain. Three nights in the 60's to start the week. The wife's birthday is this week. I would love to slip away hiking and preserve domestic tranquility. Going to be tough to do both.
She does 6 miles a day, so that is more than me 90% of days. But she does better on pavement or indoors. There is a rare disease in her family that is a form of MS. Symptoms include dragging your feet when you walk. Her brother had it at 30 and her mom at 20. She will be 65 on Tuesday, and doesn't have that yet, but she does have the leg pain that goes with it. She started CBD oil a couple of weeks ago. It does seem to be helping. It's too bad your wife doesn't share your passion for hiking.
Congrats on your anniversary. The number doesn't matter half as much as being with the right person.
70 is the new 50.80 or so here in NoCo today, sunny early, cloudy later in the afternoon. Great day to walk the dog and then go for a nice walk with mom. She told me her shoulder is healing well from surgery; she goes contra dancing every week or two and last night she danced every number all night long, that's about 4 hours straight with only a few minutes break between sets! Not bad at all for being in her early 70s...
She makes me tired lol70 is the new 50.
Wow! More power to her! Hope it helps her.She does 6 miles a day, so that is more than me 90% of days. But she does better on pavement or indoors. Nothing like the smell of meat fires. It briefly hit 90 here today. Sunny early, cloudy in the afternoon, clear again by sunset. Lots of kids roaming about, dogs walking their people, guys slowly burning meat over hot coals.
