Already having heat problem with cheap COB

I have a cheap COB light I'm using until I get my 315 CMH but the COB brought my temps up in the 3x3 tent by 10F. I'm now wondering if the cmh will be worse. Did I make a mistake? Should I just get a timber grow COB system of better quality or a QB? I really don' want to run a ducting system.

Save your money and by a inline fan with ducting and carbon filter. You can spend all the money you want on a light but it ain't gonna do shit if you don't have proper airflow.

What dubekoms said. You’ll have to vent and scrub your air. It will stink. You’ll also have too much humidity building up without ventilation.

Definitely. That will be your only way to cool the tent. I ran a 600w hps in a cooltube in my 3x3. Temps were still above ambient. (My garden is in my bedroom)
I just recently switched to 6 vero cob kit (300w) and it produces almost no heat. But I still need ventilation.

Bro, youbgotta exhaust the tent no matter WHAT light you use. Also, bring in new fresh air. And to answer your question, the CMH will be triple the heat problems you're having with a cob light. You can guarantee that.

I was afraid of that

Lighting system does not matter for heat, only thing that matters is the amount of watts you use, 1 watt = 3.41 btu.

Where the hell are you getting your info from bro, watts are the only factor for determining heat, if that cmh produces 3x more heat it uses 3x more watts.
