Hi I’m wondering if my auto white widow looks ready to harvest ? Where I bought it from says it will be ready to harvest by 11 weeks and I’m currently on my 8th week; turning 9 weeks on Friday. You will notice in some of my pictures that my leaves look crazy; that was due to lack of watering. I was gone for about 3 days and when I got back she was all dried up. Last night when I got back the first thing I did was feed it some nutes and today I watered it down with some fresh PH tested water. My plan was to flush her for about a week or 2 more before I harvest! Also when I got back it looked like my weed shurnk from the lack of watering
Is my white widow ready?

Nope- let her dry, give her a good flush, then give it at least another week. She should look fading of green chlorophyll/showing colors (imho, novice here)

I was just about to ask you if tomorrow would be the best day to harvest ? I’ve been flushing it like you said and almost all my hairs are brown. I’m thinking I should just start my harvest right now.

Yeah I just turned the lights off will keep them off for the 24 hours and come back tomorrow to chop it down !

@Devon70 I can't say as I have never done it. Some people do and say it produces a cleaner smoke. There's a thread in here somewhere if you want to look into it.
If your environmental conditions are good, and you're up for a little bit more work, I'd suggest trimming dry.
And the dark period before chop is usually done for 48 hours.
Otherwise, buds look nice and mature!

Yes last night was the night !! Took me a total of 4 hours to do, and don’t worry time flew by because I had the office playing lol, will be doing a final weight after everything is dried up!Chop time for sure now! Good job

I got some pics of my final trims! Nuggets aren’t really dense it’s very fluffy Idk I feel about it but when it dries I’ll have a reviewChop time for sure now! Good job

Yeah I definitely had to replace that fan.. it was blowing my trimmings all over the place.. I could even see a bunch of brown hairs at the bottom of my box lol ! But everything is going great now I got the humidifier going outside of the box and a nice low flowing 6’ fan in the box now. Tomorrow should be the last day of drying then into mason jars for curing !

Looks like you did a stellar job. Rinsing is definitely NOT necessary unless you have specific problems you're trying to correct. Spraying water on your buds as a rinse runs the risk of increasing you chance of mold which could ruin everything you've worked for.
Give us a smoke report when you get a chance, I think you'll be pleased
