Dont you need a vacuum and shit for qwet? I have never tried it I have looked at it and as soon as they start mentioning all this equipment you need I just stop reading lol

It would be a good idea, but not nessasary, at least for qwiso (im assuming that's what "qwet" is).

For bho though it's a really good idea to vac purge it or "whip" it while on a heat mat. Most wax/budders are never vacuum purged. They are whipped.

Nope just evaporation

You technically dont need a hot plate
But it takes like 2 days to evap all the liquid alcohol. Even with a fan it takes much longer then adding gental heat but im pretty sure the lower heat the nicer color it will be

Im no master of extracts yet but im going to be playing with it more and more

Qwiso=quick wash isopropyl

Qwet=quick wash ethanal (i use everclear)

But im considering ordering some pure grain high proof stuff thats still consumable.

I tied iso it was not as pleasant but the iso i used probably was low quality but i never tried it twice lol

Ah okay. Yeah you definitely wouldnt need to vac purge if you make it with everclear. It's safe to inhale ethanol vapor (to a point haha)

For qwiso you really gotta use 91% or even 99%. 99% is hella expensive though.

I never liked alcohol extracts. Ive made some really fire BHO though, got my own vac purge + chamber off amazon for like $120.

I'd post some pics but I cant seem to find any :(

Yeah there's different grades because it's illegal to have a certain proof in a few states. You CAN use vodka to make extracts but it wont be as good is 190 proof everclear.

Have you tried making cannabis eliquid? Can use a regular rda== almost indestructible, accurate temp control if using quality boards(dna,dicodes) and can rebuild coils for pennies.... i do 50/50 vg,pg for better wicking

Cons are less flavorful and potent vs straight flower obviously. I just drip more to hit my level, I personally love the convenience.... some won't, to each their own.

I have! It worked good. I tried both with buds and BHO and the BHO stuff came out really potent and nice.

A side benefit is you can use it orally if you decarb it first. You just soak the buds/hash in VG for a month and you make a tincture. Gets ya buzzed.

I have about 80ml in a jar in my desk. I like it, its great for out and about due to the stealthiness and also its not as strong so can even hit it in the beer garden at the pub. I just tell people I have recently given up ciggies. I use 50/50 too.

Edit> My wife LOVES it lol

I been thinking about turning the wife on to a vape setup. I think she would like it better - she doesn't really like the idea of smoking, but often its the only way she can get some quick pain relief. But I really have no idea where to start. Not looking to spend a ton of money, but I would need something simple for vaping flower, rather than the e-liquid

Then all you need is a mod with batteries. For my vape setup ive been using the smoant battlestar for a year and a half now I think and it works like a charm. With 2x LG HG2 batteries.

A bit overkill for that dry herb atomizer, but the mod is a decent price at like $40 and has great temperature control settings/profiles and can handle anything you put on it. With 2 batteries it would last probably 2 days of heavy use with that atomizer. edit: 2 days per charge

Most dry herb vapes are pieces of junk

I use an X-Max V2 Pro for dry herb. It was the cheapest thing I could find that got consistently good reviews. I have to say, at $60 for the vaporizer, and another $10 for the glass mouthpiece (it comes with a silicon mouthpiece, but I didn't like it), I am very pleased. I use about a quarter of the bud I use when I smoke, and it gets me where I need to be.

Edit: ...and the first few hits taste heavenly, but after that it's all burnt popcorn. I don't really mind though.
