Wiring help with ELG Driver

So i just got my ELG-75-C500, it has blue + brown wiring on each side, but i'm a little confused, isn't there suppose to be a Live, Neutral and a ground?

how would i go about connecting something like this to this junction box? also im going to use a computer mains, cut the end off, there should be 3 cables inside it, Live, Neutral and ground, would i connect them up to the junction box as normal and only connect the Live / Neutral to the other side? would that be safe having a ground connected without a connection on the other side of the junction box?

any help appreciated :)

appreciate the reply, what would happen if i didnt connect the earth wire at all? or just connected an earth wire from mains to junction box, but not from junction box to driver?

Clearly shows in the instruction manual and on the driver that an earth must be connected.
I'm looking at the spreadsheet now, but i don't see where it diagrams an earth? i even searched for the word eath / ground, nothing comes up, could you possibly point me to this? its appreciated as im still new to this :P

sorry just noticed you edited your post, what cable thickness would you recommend and why for earthing? just curious so i can learn :)
"Connect the FG wire (green or green/yellow) of the LED power supply to PE (green or green/yellow), this step can be skipped when the unit is marked class II, ungrounded"

This was all i can find, but when checking the datasheet for said model it doesn't display its class.

I believe the class II is the elgt series.

In most cases if the driver is not cased in a plastic housing it is class I .

This may sound stupid, i don't know but im going to mount the driver onto some wood mounts on the frame, this still ok? still learning.

sorry but could you elaborate on this, if its very important why did meanwell build the drivers without it?
See edit above. I can show you a class 2 meanwell LPC driver with the class 2 symbol.

Im not an electrical engineer, i assemble the components as the installation manual states.

The LPC is a different driver which is in a plastic case, much different than the elg series which uses a metal case. The ELGT series is a class II version of the ELG series.

The earth connection is not there for the operation of the driver, its for the grounding of the fixture frame to reduce possible shock hazard if something in the driver blows out. Its purely a safety measure, nothing more.
