Tci 3000k 5strips 2x2x4 tent. single plant

Hello I just set up this little 2*2*4 tent with a 4" scrubber. The light is an active cooled 5*23w 3000k tci led strips arranged as a panel for simplicity. The strain is hubbabubbasmelloscope and is in a 7gal fabric pot containing mostly vermicastings, biochar, perlite, and some other composts and bokashi

Nope, sand is around 1-2" deep and only to block insects from laying eggs.

I used washable furnace filter, cut to the smart pots diameter, helped with dispersion of water, is blue in colour (ie non attractive to pests) and seemed to work. Only the first time I have tried it. I like the sand option too.

Pea gravel works too and is quite aesthetically pleasing. But I wouldn't mix it in after the grow like you can with the sand.

Organics is great. It cost nearly nothing in nutrients if you study sustainable agriculture techniques. Like, this just got fed with the soak water from a bbeefysized birdseed/vermiculite/coffee mushroom spawn cake. Very light nutrient tea for cheap/free depending on how you look at it..
