Digital Genetics White Fire Widow Og

As promised, I will be running Digital Genetics White Fire Widow Og this outdoor season. Like many of you, I have spent many hours searching all over trying to find a grow log or frankly anything on their stuff, and found nothing. I have germ'ed the seeds using the paper towel method on a seedling heat mat. It's been 72 hours and all but 3 have popped. Most of them popped today so I am hopeful the rest will pop within the next 12-24 hours. I will update when they have popped to confirm germination rate.

They will be receiving supplemental light inside my processing tent until the duration of daylight reaches 13.5 hours. The light I am using is a 2 bulb t8 fixture with 6500k bulbs. I will be using happy frog in the pots for the seedlings. When I put them in ground I will likely go back to the nursery I got bulk dirt from last year. The stuff was great and very reasonably priced. I don't remember the name of the nursery but I remember the soil is called norcal thunder. For nutes I be using Age Old grow and bloom, ej microblast and cal mag, liquid karma, bushdoctor microbrew, and raw potassium during flower. I had great results with this line up last year. Ill update as things progress.

I can put my seeds outside now in socal without extra light without flowering and revegging. It might make it a bit easier without lights,good luck this year

I could probably put them outside with no problems because I'm growing from seed, but I'd rather play it safe. Also, since these genetics dont have any documented grows, if something did happen down the line I'd like to be able to determine if the issue was genetic vs grower error.

Out of the last 3 seeds, 1 popped but doesn't appear to be in any hurry to grow out the root. Also, I knocked over one of the pots and can't find the seed. Spent an hour on my hands and knees with a flashlight, still couldn't find the damn thing. So we are down to 10 specimen out of the gate.

I could probably put them outside with no problems because I'm growing from seed, but I'd rather play it safe. Also, since these genetics dont have any documented grows, if something did happen down the line I'd like to be able to determine if the issue was genetic vs grower error.

And keep in mind you have 4-6 weeks before they become sexually mature. I use this tool to help figure when it's safe to go outside. Just input a town near you.

So far I'm very unimpressed with these seeds. 3 didn't germ, only 3 have sprouted, 1 of which isn't growing correctly so I'm not sure if it going to survive. I have the remaining that popped(but not sprouted) inside seedling pots on a heating mat. So we'll see if anything happens. In addition to this, I will never buy fox farm again. I have never seen so many rocks in a bag of soil in my life.

Thanks for the Navy info. I can get the times for my little town instead of Tallahassee, the closest on the other site.

Well, I think I know why there is no documented grows on this stuff. These seeds are garbage. Maybe stored too long or incorrect storage before packaging, either way the results are the results. I bought them late last year from Oregon Elite Seeds. I got 3 seedlings out of the pack of 13, and oddly one of the seedlings isn't rooting, it just shot the first two leaves right out of the seed and died. I'm going to see how the other 2 fare and get some other genetics to grow this year. I've never had a germ rate this bad even with bag seed.

Damn dude, sorry to hear. I have 3 going right now, getting close to chop(a couple weeks out) I had 7 pop, 3 of which were males and 1 runt that (similar to yours) did not want to branch out its roots.
How did the 2 that rooted turn out?

I ended up with only one, and it hasn't shown sex yet. With my luck it's a male. I acquired some white widow to run this year and if the white fire widow is a female I'll grow it out. If it's a male I may cross it into one of my white widow females just to see what the result is. The white widow genetics I have apparently test around 27% so it would likely add some potency and bring it to around a 50/50 Indica/sativa ratio. Let me know how your's turn out.

It finally showed sex. Looks like I'll be growing it out. So I'll be running with 1 White Fire Widow Og, 5 White Widow, and 1 Critical Purple Auto.

Due to there only being one surviving White Fire Widow Og in my grow I was considering letting this thread die, but I'm actually growing quite fond of the one I have. This thing is a vigorous grower with a very sturdy structure and absolutely loves being outdoor. Seems to tolerate everything from ph swings, direct light, and 100 degree heat very well so far. My white widows are much more sensitive and the critical purple auto absolutely hates just about everything in life. I'm never growing the critical purple again.

The node spacing isn't very impressive although I've seen worst. I'm definitely going to be taking cuts and possibly breeding these with the white widows I have. The goal would be to improve node spacing and potency.

My impressions went from terrible after the germ rate to pretty optimistic. Seems like this strain has good potential as an outdoor strain but digital didn't put enough time in to refine some of the details(just my observation, not trying to take shots at anyone). I'm definitely considering refining it further to my liking.

I got kinky with her last night. Bent her over and spread her out. Didnt use the caging like i usually do, but i will be replacing the stakes I used with the caging eventually. I forgot to take before pics, but I got one this morning after she readjusted. She was around 3.5ft before I did this.

I haven't updated this in a while so I figured I should. Still going strong. Growth rate is maybe a little above average at this point. It's had some organic topping(deer) done a few times. The buck I spared last year is reminding me why I should have taken him. I'm still way behind for the year. The horrible germination rates really screwed me. I still have a few pounds of blue dream from last year so it's not like I'm in dire need of a good yield.
The White Widows growing in the other spot are doing alright, three are growing like weeds and 2 are having issues. One just completely stopped growing and I can't figure out why. It's not showing any signs of deficiency and I've treated it for damn near everything I can think of. I've never seen this issue before.
