Tent set up

Just ordered a grow tent. 2ftX2ftX4ft. I think im gonna go with 4 13 watt 900 lumen 6400k CFL light bulbs. With a 4 inch intake and outake exhaust fan. Whats your opinion?

Don't use the CFL's they SUCK and LED's are cheap nowadays anyways. On facebook look up the "Grow Pot MA" page, they have an article there that lists everything you need for a 2x2 grow (the title is like $450 grow setup or something like that, although it actually is only like $375). I use the setup they describe in the article and am having a lot of success.

You can always buy a $7 120mm PC case fan and cinch it into the bottom vent hood. My 4" exhaust fan doesn't pull out much air so I bought a 120mm PC case fan with 3 way speed control switch on it and set it on low. This prevents positive pressure (tent billowing out).

I use CFL's in conjunction with my $100 blurple led panel. 3 pairs of 6500k smaller spiral cfl's for veg state, and 3 very large 2700k spiral CFL's for flower stage. My one plant grow did well.

Or just go with a 250 w hid you can keep it cool and they don’t cost shit to run. I live in a state that is high for electric cost and every 600 Watts I plug in uses 50 a month you can grow way more than you need with a 600 and if you weren’t growing you’d spend way more on the bus anyway

Bought a similar hid bulb and it ran too hot with a 4" 190cfm exhaust fan in my 32x32x63 tent, even with air coming in at the bottom. Keep in mind that mine is a stealth grow, especially with regards to noise, thus the reason for only a 4" size exhaust fan. I'm limited to cfl's and led panels mainly because the heat extraction just isn't great with a 190 cfm exhaust fan. They're good for led's and cfl combos tho, noise and temp wise. I got a pretty decent stoney crop, tho it was only a one plant grow. I don't smoke a lot of weed.

It’s got to be in a air cooled hood in that small of a space. Depending on where op lives he can do hid me being in the northeast half of my year is cold and the other half mostly mild it’s rare that outside temps ever go above 80
