Thank you Barn Buster! , No not the first time in ny, but first time in a LONG time... im from NJ and spent my youth hanging in NYC back when it was a gritty down to earth more sleezy raw happening place, nothing like today. I love the pace and the people are fantastic but its lost its cool edgy wierdness and the all interesting stores are gone. So many big corporations have moved in and all the cool moved out or just gone forever...Have not hit the met yet. I am having a hell of a time with my west coast jet lag and time difference. I havent been starting my day till 12 noon and museums close at like 530pm! But tomorrow i plan to hit MOMA and the Guggenheim and the 9-11 memorial. its a pity that This Jan 2018 the city changed their protocol from all entrance to museums for FREE to now charging $25 mandatory to get into all the museums. There is a cool Bowie exhibition at the Brooklyn museum on now as well.
I had no idea that there is a few month waiting list for getting into the crown of the Statue of Liberty which would have been fun, would have done that if if i knew it.
Getting 'old'er is interesting eh? LOL Have much fun and take some pictures to post for us.

Sure is. The Guggenheim was a complete Bust. What a joke! It was the worst art exhibition I have ever seen in my life.besides the very small permanent collection of great paintings the stuff up the spiral was total garbage. Literally ..and that’s fine but charging us $50 was criminal. A dirty old wig , an old mersades motor, cheap luggage with pieces of wood in them, a sack of burlap thrown on the ground, a pile of sticks dragged into the corner, other junky shit. I asked the guard for a refund on the way out.

You need to come visit Los Angeles. Drive through downtown you'll see ALL that art and more, for free.

im so worn out. The weather has beat me down ...down. And the concrete....pounding day after day. Completely exhausted, my body aching in pain ,now icing my back, trying to muster up enough energy...nyc is one overwhelming place. I have plenty of weed left to smoke but the weather is so windy and blustery it’s makes it hard. Painful on the face , blistering cold.Plus there is a cop on every corner every where you look making hard to find a place to smoke anywhere. Found a punk bar called double down that had an outside private patio with a black flag mural on the wall..we could smoke in peace , but what a shit hole. They served discusting beer and showed old 1970’s old porns with ugly out of shape actors . Very painful to have to watch and made you want to puke ur beers.

Any port in a storm.

I'm happy that you were able to find a place to "relax":eyesmoke:

The pix of double down remind me of a back room in a bar in Roppongi Japan,
called The GasPanic.

The decorations were eerily similar but the thrones were startling different.
No one paid attention to what happened in the back room as long as no one got hurt:blsmoke:

Gaspanic was open 23/7. Only closed for an hour to clean up and push the dregs out the door. I'm pleased to say I never had to be pushed.8-)
