BOG has some good gear, productive toocool, i'm in...
i have a strain i created and am working with called sour wreck (trainwreck x sour diesel).
i have backcrossed two different phenos from the F1's back to the father, sour diesel.
plan on hitting these F1's with some bogglegum and blue moonshine pollen in about 2-3 weeks.
need to grow out some of my back crosses also to see if i have shortened the TW nodes at all, lol...
agreeBOG has some good gear, productive too
BOG's shit it tight !!!!There is a old grower I know of in illinois who has been growing for years,
He rides around on a bicycle planting outside all over the place.
The police in the area have been trying to catch him for years but can't.
Well anyhow he grew a bunch of seeds out and gave a bunch to my friend, all of then we're bog strains and everyone of them for Ed great colas, taste bud and very productive.
BOG used to market seeds on gypsy's , I do not know if he still does or not , he has been older then dirt since forever now.
A true old school grower
I feel ya. I grow a bunch of strains and it really pisses me off when I lose a label! Most I can figure out, but a few remain mysteries and have to be judged on their own merits!I fucked up when I transplant, and didn't label it ..lol BUT! I think this is my [pineapple chunk x train wreck] clone... Or it's my Zulu skunk clone.. I transplanted both at the same time ...lol.. post a pic f her tomorrow,, she's in bed right now..View attachment 4103096
I had the same problem at times, what solved it was getting colored ties from Walmart Mart or hobby shops then twisting the tie around the base of the plant color coding the plant, they do not get lost off the plant that way,I feel ya. Ha Ha! I guess that would work for you sane people, who grow a reasonable number of strains, but I have too many strains going for that. I would have to get the 64 crayon box for all mine. I tried it for awhile but I got tired of trying to figure out whether a tag was fuschia or magenta. I cut up mini blinds and make plant markers with them. They are cheap and I can make them any size I need. My problems usually occur when I'm repotting and neglect to put the marker back in. I try not to work on the grow when I'm stoned, but it happens sometimes.I had the same problem at times, what solved it was getting colored ties from Walmart Mart or hobby shops then twisting the tie around the base of the plant color coding the plant, they do not get lost off the plant that way,
The are kind of like bread ties ,but fuzzy and used for crafts
Oh no. I had some last season that animals pulled up the markers. I had pictures of most on here, and was able to figure out the rest.I fucked up when I transplant, and didn't label it ..lol BUT! since i have been growing in peat/perlite latelty i have made the mistake of forgetting to stick my marker back in the new pot. trying not to do that, lol.Ha Ha! Im pretty sure it's the pineapple chunk x train wreck.. but like you said, once shes into flower I'm sure I'll know.. the train wreck smell is very distinct.. kind of a cross between toothpaste and sprite .. the Zulu skunk , well she has a skunky cat piss smell when in flower..lol..I feel ya. Lmao.. I have a few packs of seeds from last season's harvest labeled with question marks with the possible names ..Oh no. I had some last season that animals pulled up the markers. I had pictures of most on here, and was able to figure out the rest.
Now once they get chopped and hung is when I tend to fuck up. I have several sacks of seeds labeled UL/ML. That is Un-Labeled/Most Likely. Then I take a guess at what it is. Most of the time when it's pretty fresh bud, I have a good idea what it is.
I've tried that and I've also used different colored toothpicks as label.. with the corresponding color and plant name wrote down in a note book.. but like what Cindy said it's a pain in the ass with a lot of different strains going... Now I normally just write the name on the pot with permanent marker or make tags out if plastic strips made from milk jugs or whatever and write the names or abbreviated names on them ..I had the same problem at times, what solved it was getting colored ties from Walmart Mart or hobby shops then twisting the tie around the base of the plant color coding the plant, they do not get lost off the plant that way,

I was transplanting pepper sprouts this week. I recycled some labels from my mj garden. They are just a little shorter now.I've tried that and I've also used different colored toothpicks as label.. with the corresponding color and plant name wrote down in a note book.. but like what Cindy said it's a pain in the ass with a lot of different strains going... And made some new ones when those ran out. Here is the raw material.

I have found with the milk jug plastic it is a good idea to cover them with soil when going outside. The sun will fade the sharpie pretty quick.I like the mini blinds because they're easy to cut up. I'm going to have to start running a cord or wire thru them and permanently attach to the plant...great idea!
