You might want to get some trays under those pots that’s my only advice for now.
Thank you - the tent floor has a seperate watertight tray but will look at something to add to that.
I read lots on topping and agree some prefer not to top autos. This is why I have only topped one of the 2.
Great help on here - thanks again.

You can top autos if you want. There's no harm in doing so. Most people won't simply because of the fact that autos are time stricken. Anytime you screw with it - take off a healthy leaf, pinch a tip, take a cutting, hack it up, or you know, pour some boiling water into the root ball, it stops growing and goes into repair mode. Depending on your plant's health, how much damage you've caused and if it's not dead from the boiling water, it can take up to 2 weeks to recover. That's A LOT of time in cannabis "age". But to each their own. Whatever works for you. I wouldn't top an auto though. But for now, water low and slow. Too big of a pot for such a small plant by the way.

Topped plant still loks good.
Thank you for your comments. I went for seeding and growing in the final pot size as some recommend.

Day 26 since sprouting.
I notice when watering that the water comes out of the fabric pot halfway down even with 500ml - less than a pint.
Right hand plant is the topped one.

Leaves drooping this morning, not in pic, - cannot decide if over or under watering.

I read that autos don't like to be transplanted so you'll likey be ok. As for the topping and lst, the breeder I like a lot (Mephisto Genetics) actually states that some of theirs do well with topping, supercropping, lst and other methods. I’m a newbie mysef and a few weeks ago started their Hubbabubbasmelloscope - 1 in a DWc and the other in a Water Farm :-)

Leaves looking great during lights on but drooping again ths morning after lights off. Do not know when drooping started -- and again diffculty working out if too much or too little water.

@ McRoasty Apparently --- "this is completely normal. it's called "circadian rhythm" aka lifes natural cycle of rest. my 1st grow i was freaking out, but it's perfectly normal. "

Do you still think pot is too big?
Yes, still too big to start in. Normally, to maximize yield, you want to start off with properly building up the root system. It's not too efficient to start a small plant in a big pot (whether auto or photo) and young plants tend to stretch a little more. But stick with whatever works for you. I do however, prefer a small plant with a huge root system over a huge plant with a small root system.

Hey Jennifer! Found this and thought you may find it useful ... tip #10 towards the bottom tells how to avoid having to transplant autos!

http://www.growersguidetocannabis.com/10-top-tips-for-autoflowering-plants-a-better-yield/
They also tell you to use coco. Most new growers will not know how to properly grow in coco and many may screw their plants up. The idea is to prep the plant to deal with incoming stress as best as possible (before stress takes place) by keeping it as healthy as possible so when you do transplant, you can keep shock level at a minimal. I foliar and root drence with kelp extract, NAA and B1 heavily (before and after transplant. My plants bounch back in 24 - 48 hours.

I don’t think your led is to close from the stretching of the Taller plant and there’s no curling of the leaves ... that’s one of the best things about LEDs that you can get pretty close without doing too much damage to the plant as long as you’re around makers recommendation you should be OK ... I think you’re running a 300 W most 300 Waters are between 12 and 20 inches from your source from the looks of it seems like you’re pretty safe I personally think it might be a watering issue but I could be wrong
