Looking at the pricing on the ones that do indeed us Cree and stuff are close to the same price. I having a feeling you’ll spend more on shipping than the few dollars you save. Unless you have a different source. These are made with same components the top US makers are using.
On amazon with the link to their store for amazon the price for that 400 watter is $599pdgrow.com the ones i was pricing are about 30% cheaper and free shipping. that why i was hoping to find someone who ordered. to see what the import taxes are. they look top notch.

on a 900 USD purchase I think I had to pay $130CND in duties. I have no idea on US duties.
Just a tip. Use a credit card with very good consumer protections or at least paypal when dealing with purchases from China.

I purchased this one. What size light did you get for 900 bucks?
I did price out hlg 600h you don’t really save much if you build it yourself. For 870 bucks you could get and build the parts needed for at least 12 better binned chips. Forget that crap. Either build your own or stuck with cmh or hps. Personal opinion at least
I didn't have the confidence or the time to build my light at the time. I think I got good value for my $.For 870 bucks you could get and build the parts needed for at least 12 better binned chips. Forget that crap. Either build your own or stuck with cmh or hps. Personal opinion at least

I checked ordering from some American companies but shipping and duties are way more than I was willing to pay.
Also all those tools and supplies add up when building a light. If your starting from scratch.
Now I have the time and not rushed. I just built my first light.
