Hey guys first post here was hoping someone could help plz.

I’m growing a blueberry auto in week 2 of flower and I have small rust colored spot on my leaves!

I’m growing in ffof with the fox farm trio pack. I’m thinking maybe it’s a calcium deficiency..?

FFOF buffers PH all on it's own....don't worry about the ph ....I've grown with several different water sources ...city,well etc and it's fine ....however without pics it's hard to say like mentioned above .... I did decide to switch to RO707 soil after many many years of growing in FFOF ..... The last few years I've had trouble in flower if I didn't add Cal from the beginning.....but I've also noticed it compacts a little tighter than I like as well....so as far as FFOF I would get some cal mag and also add lots of perlite next time .....make sure your letting the plant dry out completely between waterings.....GL

Ph being out of wack is a sign of root trouble like root rot. Thats why test the ph of runoff. Im in ffof amended with 50% coco. The ph of the nutes going in is 4.2 and runoff tests at 6.2. So yes soil is a great buffer but i allways check ph of the runoff and tds. Only week 2 of flower the grow big may have salts built up. If i remember on there scedule you use grow big right up to flower. So yes you need to test and get some pics up under nateral light and not just pics of leaves but whole plant pics

The reason you may have had issues, is because it does matter what's in your water! if your soil became too compact, it's very simply from having your calcium/magnesium ratio out of whack. If you have too much magnesium and not enough calcium, it will 'clump' your soil together as magnesium is a smaller ion than calcium, and too much will pull everything together. With more calcium, your medium (as calcium is a larger ion) will be looser and more airy. It all depends on your medium, heavy clay soils can take a 7:1 cal:mg ratio, whereas as looser sand based mediums that require structure, will do better with just a 2:1 cal:mg ratio.

LOL

Glad to make you life lol..i will delete the post..nm the advice lol
I've had awesome results with FFOF for many years....same locations same water same everything....my problems didn't start until they opened up the second facility.... Before that I was golden in FFOF .... I can appreciate you trying to help.... But if there's even a remote possibility it's not the FFOF ....then why did the RO707 go off without a hitch.....same with my recycled FFOF..... Il just stick with the KISS method. OP was the one asking for help. After almost 20 years growing...I have a pretty good grasp on my grows.... Just because I find your info useless...doesn't mean someone else doesn't wana go looking for trouble.....GL

Need a pic from farther back showing the whole plant. From that 1 pic its harder to tell as the top and bottom of plant needs to be seen. Without knowing what you've been feeding and watering and ph, it's kind of a guessing game..so my guess is either calcium or manganese..those are the two that would leave irregular spotting like that. More pics, of whole plant and some input as to what she's living on, will get a better answer.

Bud growth has slowed since this started..the buds look nice and frosty but the fan leaves all look like that with the brown spots

I can't tell honestly. Calcium deficiency, which maybe it was at one point but now stopped, would be seen at the top of the plant, and it seems the top looks fine. Maybe you had an issue a few weeks ago and it resulted in the damage but now is fine? I've had some bigger fan leaves which get weird sometimes as they are receiving alot of light if stuck in a position and thus they get 'drained' of nutes quicker. Your plant seems frosty and buds are looking good, sorry, can't offer any thoughts.

Thank you for the response..I’ve been feeding it call mag for the last few days and haven’t seen any improvement yet..I need to get this plant to harvest..it is some of the stinkiest frosty buds Ive seen in a while

She's looking nice, maybe 3-4 weeks left i guess if its an auto. Has this issue gotten worse or spread recently? When was the first time it appeared? Leaves look healthy otherwise, buds seem to be developing well..all i can advise for future grows, is to lst..create a more even canopy so all bud sites can get equal light.
I personally dont have experience with your grow medium as its not available here just like the nutes. Auto's can be finicky eaters, im still trying to figure them out lol
Are you using tap water? If so, do you know what it contains?

Tap water is fine I’ve been using it for years with no problem I leave it overnight just to get room temp as I find it too cold from tap, just add nutes and ph down as tap water is normally around 7 ph.Tap water will not harm your plant,if it’s safe to drink, use it it’s FREE:)
