I Just Fucked up (I think...)

So I just watered/fed my girl and I had about a third left in the 2l container from the last feed yesterday which left a few little spots on one of the leaves which looked like some sort of burn. Rather than give it the same strength as yesterday I thought I would dilute it with some fresh water that has been boiled and left to cool down. I added the water and give it a shake and forgot to adjust the PH, the feed already in the container was ph'd, the boiled and cooled down water wasn't.

How bad have I messed up?

Water is bad here, what else do you wan't to know? It's in coco and around 40 days vegging from seed.

Gimme 5 mins to get a picture.

Edit:

The leaves I have cut were damged early on and the ends were all dry so I cut them off.

Which Nutes are you giving ? ... She looks a bit pale ...

You can scratch in some blood meal into top of medium then at next watering , it will give a boost in nitro. Leaves are perked up which is good ... Maybe next feed up the nitro a bit.

Canna a + b at 1.5ml/2L and been giving 1.5ml of nitrozyhme per 2l since last week should I up that? I think the light makes it look pale, will get a pic tomorrow outside the room.

What makes your water bad? (is it contaminated?) You have hard water? I'm no expert, but boiling the water probably kills everything in it...bad and good. So all the additional micro nutrients and supplemental nutrients are not there, you will have to add them.


It's not that she looks pale, she looks like a yellowish-green. She should be a nice lush green, like a beautiful lawn type green. Like this leaf:weed:. Could bump up nutes a little maybe? Budz advice is good!

Just know that cutting off the "burnt tips" will not stop the spread of the problem. It is a sign, that is how that plant communicates that it has to much or to little of something. (Unless it's like semi-dead, in which case that's a different story.)

I have hard water from my well ( about 200 ppm) I use it for all my grows hydro and dirt. Just ph my hydro water, for dirt I don’t even ph it. I just pour it in and let the plants do their thing.

I'm sure its the light making it look pale, how does thw pic look attached to this post which was take while lights off. Water is very hard in the area I'm in, I was told it was best to boil the water and let it cool, I'm gonna get a filter today and try that.

The tips of the leaves may curl a bit to one side.
Just water them with pH correct feed till you get runoff and it should be fine.

Boiling will just kill microbes. You actually do nothing for your water but condense it even more by boiling off the water and leaving the trace behind. If you like the extra step cool. Its not needed though. May I ask how you test ph? Is it with a calibrated pen, or drops? Also what type of light and how close?

With drops at the minute and checking ec with a truncheon. Light is a CFL pro 300w. I'm stopping the boiled water today, will feed them later with just tap water with feed ph'd. :)

Agreed - its a p.i.t.a. to have to constantly distill the water - BUT at least you know exactly what is or isn’t in it (just don’t drink it cuz it has been known to actually leach minerals FROM the human body).

Bro, it's not the lighting. Based on your last picture (lights off), your plants ARE pale. I think I mentioned this to you on your other thread about using coco. I also told you, you need to add CalMag because coco doesn't have any. Now I'm seeing all sorts of early signs of deficiency in your last picture. Your plant looks hungry. Needs more nitrogen. Early stage of mag deficiency. Ph fluctuation. Also looks like red leaf stems/viens starting to develop??? Chlorosis in between viens and a tiny bit of necrosis starting on leaf margin.
