I don’t understand how it could be illegal for someone to stipulate no pets in a rental property they own. I remember seeing on the news a bit ago they were making it so you can’t say no kids, not sure if it ever came to fruition though. I know tenancy act flip flops a bit from province to province.BC landlords have the right to ban pets.
