Yes BUT, like said above. You can learn to do some really amazing things with smaller containers!Isn' it true bigger roots bigger fruits? I figure (4) 7 gal pots would work nice in a 4x4 or 5x5 if i veg a little longer?
It's all in the feeding, How often, and how much is the key. Once you can deliver to the plant what it "needs" to it's size...in any pot. Your getting ahead of the game and not growing like a newbie anymore.
However, you bet there is limitations to final yields and pot size! Getting 6 zips from a 3 is not that hard - down the road. Strain selection is a variable. I mean your not going to do it with something like a Cookies or Blue Cheese....
You can even do a bit better then dbl.....That's riding the razor's edge..... I don't "shoot" for that result. Just something I did when experimenting to see just what I could do with a #3 pot yield wise....Been doing this a long, long time...
Here is 2 plants in #3's (the 2 front plants). These produced 374 grams total, between them....just where I like to be....a tic over dbl the zip per pot size "rule."
One of the mains - right before harvest...Day of.... Strain is an un-named strain given me by a soldier who got them from a "hash maker" in Iraq...
Skills come with time and learning.... Be patient. All good things come to those who can be....
