just weird looking plants, really leafy colas,Not much frost, and lanky branches.
I didn't see anything overly impressive as far as bud size but the colors and the colors of her offspring are the reason why I picked her up. Pink flowers for aesthetics and the sweet berry flavor is a bonus.just weird looking plants, really leafy colas,Not much frost, and lanky branches.
I did the same shit with the nugets. I ordered the r. kush and then noticed I had to sign up for credit. I'm going to ask about it when I email them tomorrow letting them know I shipped payment.Maybe. I didn't realize about the rewards at greenpoint and checked out as a guest. I made an account and asked if they could give me credit for the order. Haven't answered yet. If they don't no biggie.
I may look at hemp depot. I need some other seeds as well.
Yeah thcfarmer has alot of his old shit still for sale lol.even oregen elite has a few of them.i heard the polar bear crosses were hermie city.even gu said that I remember him saying it.
That' The cross that space genetix is using and people are saying they have hermies also
I'm switching from my HPS to CMH next run. I have seen great results with CMH. I will have equivalent to 4000 watts of HPS.It's starting to warm up here and I'll be upgrading to LED soon.
Does anyone run a mixed environment? I really like my 600w HPS rigs. Got two 600s with a 400w MH between them for full spectrum.
It sure would be nice to get the same amount of light for 1,000 watts or less...
Chunky: I take cuttings asap, number them & then root them under 12/12 they show sex about the same time as they have a good set of roots that way I don't loose time while my plants revert....I tried grafting once and it didn't end well.
Having a plant count limit sucks when I run regular seeds. Can't take cuttings until I cull some males, so my clones will have to revert back to veg.
Now here, I completely agree! Slow don't bother me much. Yield either! That is simply not always the case. There are some very slow growing and mutant strains that produce incredible smoke!
Many times the slow growing runt of the litter has other unique qualities that make them worthy candidates in a breeding program.
I have found a correlation between extremely vigorous plants and heaviest yielding pheno's are generally lower in potency than their slower growing sisters. This may just be my luck, but I've grown a few over the years and have found this to be the case.
These slow janky plants do not work for you and the parameters you've established for your breeding program. I understand, I'm not into slow inbred strains either.
There are many folks though, that consider Ogkb, Sour Bubble, and other slow strains to be excellent breeding material. To Each Their Own.
Watt for watt all the lights put out the same heat, but Hps put a lot of IR which heats the plants more.Watt for Watt CMH puts out alot of heat.I ran CMH and they are still hot as hell.Only thing gonna get you away from the heat is Cobbs or quantum boards.
If your pulling in cool air from outside to cool the hoods your HPS should be good to go.only issue i had was condensation on the hoses coming from outside cold air.
My air cooled 1000w hps ran cooler than 2 315w cmh non cooled.the yield was about the same but if you air cool cmh you run into issues.there meant to run hot to maintain the spectrum.Watt for watt all the lights put out the same heat, but Hps put a lot of IR which heats the plants more.
My mileage varies from yours, never had a problem with burning or drying at up close with cmh, you can hold your hand close to cmh and not feel heat like you do with hps. I run hps in winter, without it I'd have to provide another form of heat, wasting any efficiency gains. I run cmh in summer. I have some Qb's sitting around. I'm not that impressed with them, although when my hps and cmh need replacing, it will be with leds.My air cooled 1000w hps ran cooler than 2 315w cmh non cooled.the yield was about the same but if you air cool cmh you run into issues.there meant to run hot to maintain the spectrum.
Replacing hps with cmh to achieve the same results to overcome a heat issue will result in disappointment IMO.this is why I switched to cobbs and will never look back.you don' get that radiant heat that burns and dries out plants at closer ranges.
My cmh would make all my tops stressed out unless I raised it way up than you would loose alot of light on the edges.yes I could have air cooled but would lost par through the glass and also lowering the temp and having to use a square reflector.
Since I switched to cob with low ceilings my tops all look healthy as shit and no more slow growth around the outside edge of the canopy.
My ac compressor comes on alot less with the cobs than it use to with HID.
I'll never go back to HPS and eventually will sell off my CMH stuff.
Gunslinger around 5 weeks.

Strips. but the Vero's at 8 bucks apiece look good tooWhats your oppinon on cobs vs strips ?
I was thinking about a strip build to get my led feet wet
Yeah man I keep shit as honest as possible.i never take sides.prob why I get into shit alot but if I see something fucked up or bullshit I can't help myself.Well he dont want pictures of nanners lmao
I like the truth though
Thanks for sharing your stuff bro
Im the same way. I guess its why im always such a lone ranger lolYeah man I keep shit as honest as possible.i never take sides.prob why I get into shit alot but if I see something fucked up or bullshit I can't help myself.
