Wanting to build a water-cooled low profile ceiling mounted light using cheap aluminum CPU water blocks and CPU radiators. Also, did I mention I'm powering it all with an 850-watt switch mode power supply using an array of 150watt dc-dc step-up boost converters. They're cheap so I'll be running 2 in parallel per light so that they can split the thermal load.
This build is not designed around efficiency, so much as par per dollar relative to the extra supplies I currently have at home. My questions are:
Whats the meaning of life?
Your Opinion of The Best Cob for This situation?
Why don't more people watercool their lights?
90cri vs 80cri, 90s have higher 600+nm spectrum. Would this facilitate the Emerson effect without buying 660nm secondary side lighting? Or do you think the loss in efficiency of deep red leds photon inefficiency would outweigh the added effects of the deeper red spectrum helping the plant through the Emerson effect.
