Theres already a thread on it on riuI'm in search of another led (I have 400w of cobs) and since I'm in Eu only eu company with decent prices is GN..So what do you think of this led? https://gn.uk/led-grow-lights/gn-telos-8
Looks OK for a 2x2 (60x60 cm) space. Efficiency is not great, but not terrible either. Don't see a price anywhere....I'm in search of another led (I have 400w of cobs) and since I'm in Eu only eu company with decent prices is GN..So what do you think of this led? https://gn.uk/led-grow-lights/gn-telos-8
Strange, could swear i saw it at around 385€ at their web but now it says q1-2018 so probably not stocked. To me thats a good price.Looks OK for a 2x2 (60x60 cm) space. Efficiency is not great, but not terrible either. Don't see a price anywhere....
I've certainly seen more ridiculous prices for lights, at least its under $2 per watt.Strange, could swear i saw it at around 385€ at their web but now it says q1-2018 so probably not stocked. To me thats a good price.
2x2 gives a ppfd of 1100 aprox, a bit on the high side.
Id say maybe even a 3x2 (ppfd 750ish) but really i think its more a matter of buying the lights and see what it covers at light levels youre comfortable with. The optics and spectrum are what interests me the most. Optics look narrow but very even so i think you wont have very much wall losses or hotspots. Very good at directing the light at your plants, or if you are in an open space.
Previous lights from this company have been very loved by most owners (even at much higher price point but generally autogrowers) but had bad on-paper specs.
Maybe the specialized spectrum also gives it an extra kick.
Im guessing that this will be a light you either love or hate. Would love to see it grow.
Seems pretty expensive. And you still have to wire with wago.So almost like a semi assembled diy kit you can purchase for much cheaper price. But choice is yoursI'm not a diy guy so that is not a option,I have one single 55w citizen cob led light (like autocob) so I can add it in that tent(I was planing to put them in 1x1m tent)
. only other option that I find is this http://www.rubol.nl/product/rubol-josephine-plugplay/ and two of those cost like telos... And yes dude on gn help chat claim it covers my space 1m2 in flower..so telos plus my cob, or that two cobs plus my cob?
U didnt look right its just plug and play..Just they have one gypsy trick..All prices like GN ( i didnt look at it good) are without VAT! So i don't know what I can afford.. Telos is too expensiveSeems pretty expensive. And you still have to wire with wago.So almost like a semi assembled diy kit you can purchase for much cheaper price. But choice is yours
you need to plug driver to AC-plug. I am sure you can save money with semi DIY kit. Cob already mounted on heatsink, maybe you have to plug few cable more(even my girlfriend that is super noob was able to do it).U didnt look right its just plug and play..Just they have one gypsy trick..All prices like GN ( i didnt look at it good) are without VAT! Screw is all you needMy diy guy left to Ireland and I live in apartment and don't have any tools for diy except screw driver...
I think I will wait better times..
Id go for the cobs before the china lights, unless you actually seen these lights grow IRL. But the boards, on low wattage with no heatsink just a bit of airmovement, would be my first choice. The only diy you have to do is to connect cables in wagos, and heatshrink the connections. The supplier looks legit, answered pretty much everything i asked, and theyve been tested out by g84.Due to price I had to find something else..So my new options are 2 skyline leds 150w http://www.chinaledlighting.net/150W-LED-tunnel-lamp-IP65-waterproof-516.html , or 4 citizen 1212 clu048 3500k 90 cri single cobs... What is better for tent ??

Btw, where do you source meanwell drivers in eu?you need to plug driver to AC-plug. I am sure you can save money with semi DIY kit. Cob already mounted on heatsink, maybe you have to plug few cable more(even my girlfriend that is super noob was able to do it).
EDIT
200watt for 316€ (£280) is really expensive.
You can get 2 board for 160€ and hlg 240 driver for 74€. 250watt of Light more efficient
Kit for board cost 235€.I found a guy on ebay that sell 1212 single cobs..85£ for one.. So i will be buying that, its same as my single cob 1212 3500k 90cri
. So I will have 4 60w cobs , I will put 4 autos in that tent in 15l airpots..
