I am not post this to bash LED but all the MMJ and other types of growing lights have dangers so be wary and careful.

Good sunglasses and hats like a baseball cap or bigger brim are minimums. Also if you are going to spend a lot of time in the room, turn off the bright lights or dim them.

I personally hate metal halide because it can and does cause skin cancer. CMH, though I never used, is pretty scary because the light almost arcs.

insurance will pay if you cut your own head off. some have a period of time like a year after policy purchase, and during that time you cant electrocute yourself and still get a pay out, but after that its no biggy.

I found that the 315 CMH was really when it started effecting my eyes. The UV is hard on you. I now have an awesome set of grow room shades (not the blurple cancellers but a different UV kind) and I kind of like being tanned all winter so I just soak it up.

4 plants means it is 5 minutes a day 3 days a week. But the eye protection should be a mandatory part of any indoor garden. They are not that expensive.

In no particular order : Headaches from staring at data sheets, getting bitched out by the wife, thermal paste poisoning,Soldering iron burns, aluminum shaving splinters from drilling, the occasional wire stripper pinch, minor electrical shock, up to full on cardiac arrest from electrocution.....
