How can I support these branches?

I’m half way through flowering, week 5. 10 week strain and she’s big. I vegged too long and lesson has been learned. Came home yesterday and noticed some of my colas leaning. Not too much, but a noticeable difference. I can’t risk snapped branches when she starts putting on more weight, hopefully. What can I do to support her? I’ve read up on bamboo sticks but I have a lot of branches so I’m not sure if it’s the most efficient method. bongsmilie

Just need to build something like that and lower it over your plant so it has support

I'd just shove a few bamboo sticks in there and use pipe cleaners or twist tie from a roll to attach the colas to them. Can hook up a few colas to each stick so you don't need a lot of them.

Lot easier than trying to rig up a screen for them this late in the game.

Can point the tips to shove them in easier and don't worry about damaging a few roots. The plant won't care so you shouldn't either.

sticks, ropes, strings, poles, to the floor, to the pot, to ceiling, to each other.
One stick in the middle and a rope tied around the whole plant even...really?

(ima gonna show off my awesome plant under the guise of not knowing how to use a stick and string)

Actually, that is what I REALLY would like to do. In my head, I see something possibly wrapping around the lower part of the colas; thus bring them all inwards but I have 20+ colas and some would be touching against each other.

I vegged the plant with a SCROG screen which is why the canopy is so even. I tried to put it back over them but I was nervous because buds were flapping everywhere and I didn’t want to damage them lol.

Wouldn’t the buds start growing around the strings? I have at least 5 weeks left before I’ll even start checking the trichs...

I’m going to look into the bamboo sticks. From my multiple google searches, forums searches and YouTubing, this appears to be the most consistent and popular method by far.

with a bow...

Looks good.
Thanks brother. This has definitely been an experience. The pics don’t do it justice. She’s at least 3ft x 3ft. Got neg pressure in my tent so colas are leaning against walls which is another reason why I’m panicking.

try using silica on a grow and you wont see this problem any more
heres a good article on the benefits of using silica as an additive.. remember u always have to add silica first to your water and mix it in before adding anything else or it will react and crystallize

Definitely helps a ton ^^ but i use it in my dwc and still need support in flower. I like it more because it really toughens up your plants against diseases and pests. But i dont use it in flowering. Ive read some stuff about it making for harsh bud. Havent tested it, heard others say it increases yield.. ill have to get around to an experiment but im happy with it for now.

i use it throughout flower and veg at 1/4 dosage every watering or three, it works for me and the taste isnt harsh.
theres an old grow method by a guy uncle ben but the pics arent working on this site now for some reason ( really pisses me off!)
if you didnt want to use a scrog setup, you could do bens 2 or 4 top cola method. when you do the 4 top method, you end up with 4 medium sized cola instead of gigantic one. on top of this they are all equally growing, and when they put on weight they naturally fall away from eachother. if they got too big alls it would need is to tie each of the 4 colas (as late as possible in the grow) and suspend them from the ceiling. anything growing off those four stalks should support itself and is unlikely that they would even need support. if anything they'd need to be tied down

obv im talking about next time. but what id do there is yeah just get some string and tie the ones your worried about to the ceiling

in hydro it says to add it to a gallon of water then add it after the nutes go in because it rises ur PH. It can also replace PH up and my silica adds some potassium too. i havent used silica in hydro but maybe thats something that happens is people dont add it right and it fks up their plant

imo your plant is a great height for that growth, you done it good, next time if you dont veg as long your gonna get less crop, so its good you did it so you learn more about managing a beast!
nice job dude!
