that's pretty damn good! 20 seeds ain't bad at all for that beauty! I've been wanting that TimeWreck for a while, but never got around to pickin' up any seeds. I did just get a cut of ShangriLa though!!! Looking forward to running it, just waiting for it to shoot some roots in the cloner :) only female outta 5 seeds, but my buddy said it's a beauty. I haven't got to sample any yet.

Edit: @Mason Jar 92705 have you got to run the shangrila yet?

No, I never ran the Shangrila. Atm, most of the garden is filled up with Queen Anne Revenge. + doing a 20 seed pheno hunt of Dominion Skunk/Granny Skunk from Duke Diamond’s Dominion Seed Co.bongsmilie

Thanks. I scored them last summer from JBC. He is short on all TGA gear right now. Jack the Ripper is where its at for me though. Really love that strain. Can be a lot of trim work but well worth it. Tons of new strains from TGA I would like to try. Best of luck to you

yeah the fire really screwed him with all the gear, but thank goodness he has lots of fans and friends that like to stockpile seeds :) JTR is another on my radar. as well as Tinto, Pennywise, cheesequake, and ripped bubba. They just all looks so damn good, its hard to choose!

Those DQ's are VERY healthy! How many grow cycles do you do per container before you start fresh over?

Thanks Mason! Ideally... endless cycles! I'm not sure how that's going to work though. I would have to think eventually the mix will need to be relimed and remineralized... but other than that, topdressing nutrients and organic matter should take care of what the plant needs. I think this is the 5th run with these particular no-tills the DQ are in. I'm thinking about sending in a soil sample from it once this run is complete, just to assess what exactly is going on with this particular mix. See how well i've been taking care of my nutrition without breaking it up and starting over.

I've just been topdressing with amendments mixed into compost at transplant into the no-till with a pretty broad spectrum of nutrients for veg (crab shell meal, neem meal, kelp, oyster shell flour, fishbone meal, alfalfa meal, insect frass, greensand, and sometimes rockdusts). In general i'd say it's about 1.5-2 cups worth of amendments mixed into the compost and just peel back the existing mulch, layer that mixture down, put mulch back over it and water it right in. that gets me through veg and the first 14 days of bloom, and then depending on how long of a finisher the plant is, i'll do one or two topdressings of a flower based amendment mix which contains an NPK of 3-7-4, and then i add insect frass and kelp to that mixture as well. either mix that with some compost again, or just peel back the mulch and scratch it into the surface. For long finishers i'll do an application around week 1 and then again at week 4 (because they take time to break down and become bioavailable), and for early finishers i usually just hit them once around week 2. These topdressings in flower have boosted my yields with organics tremendously because the recipe i was using and slightly modified (clackamus cootz recipe) i found to be lacking in long term K release.
