I sprouted a white widow max autoflower.
What is your thoughts on what would be a better grow? The choices i have are coco in a 2gallon smart pot or 2gallon dwc.

Again water refills in mid to late flower in a Dwc. Root mass will swallow the 2ga bucket. I did a 2ga Dwc and water was the pain.

Id go with a minimum 5 gallon bucket for dwc.. Even if the plant is small thisll give your water stability and lower the frequency of adjustments and res changes and topping off. Is your space restricted?

Go with coco don't over feed and ph your nutrient all is plain sailing with basic grow and bloom feed.
A lot more fail safe than doing a bubbler.

Ive gone through a 5 day power outage in dwc no problem. Just emptied out a bunch of water only letting the lower section of the roots touch water. Basic kratky method hydro where theres roots for taking in air and roots for taking in water. Theyll survive this way with sunlight. Good to have an extra pump for pump failures but its not like everyone should be afraid of dwc over this..

Do one in coco and one in dwc, never put all your eggs in the one basket, until confident enough.

Yea I like the do one of each thing. But if doing dwc buy an extra small pump and a siphon. Once the lady gets a little bigger you can just slide the top around siphon out water and fill with a pump. You'll never get every drop but it's the only way to change water the last few weeks. You'd be terrified moving whole plants between buckets.
