I'm all about using whatever is available! Upgrade whenever possible as a given....
Instead of the "spare no expense" , go for the "NO expense" run.....

Find the happy medium...

I am sitting on a pile of old gear thats costed a small fortune over the years, because I didn't just get the good stuff at the start.

Lights/fixtures is a huge thing. Save and buy the end game first. Saves hundreds. (Currently, I'd suggest them nice little 315w CMH sets, they run cooler than MH/HPS, and with better light for the wattage.)

Nutes, medium, fans, all that, spare the expenses, go generic, its all the same in the end. Even bulbs for the most part... you can go all out on some Ushio or Horti-Eye's, but... iPower scores damn near as high in light tests, fr $20 a bulb.

Certainly do not attempt to flip to flower until you are ready to finish. Don't give the plant the chance to get beyond your rooms abilities.

The strain is amnesia haze and shes an autoflower so I will just feed her, give her light and let her do her thing. I will soon put her under a mars hydro 300w.

Care to elaborate on what the bulbs are and where you got that nifty multi-lamp holder?
I had 5 of those supposedly 12w bulbs inside the e27 splitter but one burned out quickly. I got them both off of ebay and it set me back about €18. Although, I spotted a seemingly great 300w (also on ebay for 60 euro. Its a Mars Hydro 300w LED) and i plan to hang it up soon.

I am getting started with just a t12 and a dome for my seedlings. Eventually I will upgrade my light obviously but I am growing to save money, not spend extra. I have a 19 in x 33 in x 52 in stand up freezer I am going to use a bimetal hole saw put some holes in it and see what happens. If I fail, I want to do it as cheap as possible.
