The Irish Growers Thread!

Have an Xtreme. Yes they work and yes they are way overpriced for what is essentially propagator with a little pump. For soil i would not bother as moving from the cloner to soil slows things down. Straight into lightmix never fails for me.

See they just speed root hrowth faster n itll be used with the fairy in mind. Thinking of buying the 20 site one...what size are u willing to sell?
 
Veg tent is all setup. Man i need more space lol. Exodus Cheese girls have popped aswel.

The new tent is much sturdier and better made then my other tent. Cheaper too lol. Only thing i would say is that i cant open the main door at the front because theres only one zip and its all the way at the back of the tent. Other then that its a great buy.

Nah thx i still use it sometimes.
Cutting plugs si in the holes nicely, keeps em fresh when there is no room for reppoting.
 
Also. Makes the fairy easier so ill get one for bulk buy in amazon's so I get free postage but wait till ive cash flow,dealer first..faster than id planned cuz his family life slapping him about so ill send him a lottle sterling asap to help

I've been looking at growmau5 diy led lights and am seriously tempted to build my own, especially if I can get them
Closer to the plants than a hps.
That will mean I can grow in a smaller cabinet meaning I will have less cfm of air to move, yes? (Please say yes :D)

fed up with hps... or just looking for a more permenent compact grow space

Cheers dave. Theyre Green Crack. Some nice stuff.

If your willing to put money and work into it then go for it. For the cheapest supply of parts go with Kingbrite led on alibaba. They do the parts separately or they do a 200 watt kit citizen 1212s for like 200 quid . Ill be switching to cobs when i get money together
 
A couple of reasons. More energy efficiency, if I can grow in a smaller space then I can control the fans to move less air and hopefully make less noise overall, (I,m gonna be growing in my room) and hopefully more dry weight per watt.
I remember Kang was the only fella around here using led and he had a bit of bother with them but the tech seems to
Have improved a lot since then.

Cheers, i.'d be a bit wary about buying from China but I'll have a look.
