just got some New plants going for the remainder of the winter .. trying a couple of Iranian goddesses out (supposedly it's Iranian short season) also got some white widow going that I had crossed with Zulu skunk.. both are pretty stable so I shouldn't have a problem locking down some of the traits I want.. other then that not a whole lot going on.. working when I can and just chilling at the home front.. hopefully 2018 is a better year to me.. last year was a bitch to me..lol

if the outdoors temps hold I can possibly keep the led in here but I'm real close to putting the hps back in I think I was a bit hasty in taking it out I'm waiting to see if my temps reach 75.f IMG_4395.JPG IMG_4400.JPG

Havent tried the tupor yet.
But when i ran coco i found that a 70/30 coco perlite was a nice mix

50/50 was a little to fast to dry for me .

Nice work so far man:)

I've got a few coco grows under my belt & depending on the coco source I've ran as high as 40% perlite but as you've said 30% perlite is hard to beat tupur for all practical purposes is coco mixed & ready to run right out of the bag I'm guessing about 20% perlite as well as some other stuff

I liked it, but dirt has a special place in my heart. Before I moved up here to PA, I grew up on a farm on the proper side of the mason Dixon line down in south Carolina. Corn, cotton, tobacco, soybeans, and peanuts. We had a few animals too obviously, but our money came from the crops listed above.

This year will be my first proper veggie garden since I left the farm, I'm really excited for it. I am also reading up on mushroom propagation, I know someone who will pay good money for shitake and morels, they seem to be more difficult to fruit though.

I too grew up in a farming community, but have always had a fascination with hydro now I'm in the sierra gold country in California & enjoying my tomato & peppers this year I'm starting from seedIMG_4357.JPG
