Just got introduced to this addiction(Bitcoin,Litecoin, and Etherium)- trading on GDAX -made $50 in 2 days with $250.Like playing stock market, but much more volitile- but not bad to throw a little mad money at.

My biggest pisser was taking so long to get verified and get funds added from bank(still have to wait til next Friday)-Etherium went from my buy in @700, now its @ $1000 after 7 days (and my funds are tied up in Litecoin, after I got bored with ETH).Def. HODL(Hang on for dear life). Wish I could buy 1 Bitcoin(watched it go from 13,000(buy in) to 17000(sell) in 1 1/2 days- so 1 bitcoin@ $13000 would have made you a $4000 profit in less than 2 days!

Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP fall sharply after Coinmarketcap.com removes data from some South Korean exchanges

Prices for some of the most popular cryptocurrencies dropped sharply Monday. One apparent reason: an adjustment from a popular website on its digital-currency price quotes.

A website called coinmarketcap.com on Monday removed data from some South Korean exchanges from its price quotes for a range of virtual currencies including bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple’s XRP. The move followed a South Korean government crackdown on cryptocurrencies.

The move by coinmarketcap caused some amount of chaos when prices across the board suddenly plunged. In mid-Monday trading, XRP had fallen 26% over the past 24 hours, Bitcoin Cash was down 18%, and litecoin was down 12%. Of the top 40 cryptocurrencies, 31 were down, including bitcoin and Ethereum..........................

About a year ago, maybe, my mother kept talking about having 4 bitcoin from years ago and wanting to know what it was worth. Knowing nothing about it I quickly looked up the price and it was around $13,000 at that time, so I told her she could have around $50G. I spent that weekend with her being the muscle so she could go through boxes in storage looking for what I assumed was the paperwork with numbers, or something like that. When she yelled she found it and held up 4 coin cases with coins in them, I realized we just wasted almost 2 days. Poorly stamped aluminum coins with a gold anodizing. The best part was she said she paid $100 a piece for them.
