opinions on chem gro 4-20-39 and other CHEAP DRY NUTES

honestly I found no issues using any of the 15 or so nutrient systems in my flood and drain tables.
all performed very well and it really just came down to price and ease of use, availability when I was bottle fed.
so many reviews come from so many different grow spaces, from attics to crawls, sheds to closets. surely they all have complete controls(yeah, right)

I could be wrong but i used it for hydro i believe the cns stood for "complete nutrient system "
Or "commercial nutrient system " can't recall
It did well just real thick and gloopy
Or it could have been formulated for coco coir too long ago lol

there was a blurb that it was developed by a PHD scientist.

science! lol.

i have seen some of the dr harley NPK industries youtubes. he's a pretty smart dude, breaks down the whys and whats about all kinds of growing stuff

Totally agree i never REALLY had a problem that i could blame the nutrients for .

Like saying a gun kills ..no.. a person pulled the trigger.

But yea every nute line ive run produced .
Now i just dont want to pay for the convenience they provide lol

my only requirement for a nute is that it is pH stable for at least 7 days. we go away alot and i need to keep the plants alive while i'm gone. and my system was designed to be left alone. drain to waste, autofeed,, etc

Yea that loveable bastards chops sold me on RAW nutes (they are great so far )
Love there stuff (even though some of it isnt as instantly soluble as they claim ha ha .

Its my first dry nutrients but unfortunately they are no where near as affordable as hydro gardens chem gro formulas

I agree ,
And i want a clear soulution fir once lol
Liquid karma and other kelp and humic supplements are great but im tired of seeing it on my roots lol

But the RAW nutes are doing great just brown and not cheap lol

I run the 5-11-26 hydroponic special mix with micros. Equal parts with calcium nitrate, half that much epsom salt, all by weight.

For bloom I add 25% more mix and 1/4 by weight of MKP.

I generally don't need to adjust pH but your water conditions may vary.

Example;
Veg
100g mix
100g calcium nitrate
50g epsom

Bloom
125g mix
100g calcium nitrate
50g epsom
25g MKP

...and that's it. Do not ask the nice lady about 'bud blood' or 'voodoo juice' or she'll sic her cat on you...

The 4-20-39 mix is better for bloom (no need to add MKP) but isn't quite as versatile for for other uses. And MKP is cheap.

im haveing a hard time finding the 5-11-26 hydroponic mix.

Do you know if they still sell it?
Found the mag sul
The mkp and the cal nit.
But i cant find that base is it labeled as one of their veggie mixes?
