They all ended up being males. Cut down one like 4 days after this post. It took another 2 weeks for the other two to show signs they were male. I learned a lot though
That's shitty. I've only ever had that happen once. They all ended up being males. Cut down one like 4 days after this post. It took another 2 weeks for the other two to show signs they were male. I learned a lot though
I hope I can say the same thing. This was my first grow and I planted around 15 bag seeds. I'm only using feminized seeds or clones for the next few grows. Can't handle a let down like that again for a whileThat's shitty. I've only ever had that happen once.
I don't know if this is true, but I grow only regular seeds and increasing humidity in the seedling stage helped me get more females. When I did my first regular seed grow I got only 4 females out of 10. Next grow I increased humidity to 60% in veg stage and got 7 females out of 10. Maybe I was lucky or maybe humidity has something to do with it.I hope I can say the same thing. This was my first grow and I planted around 15 bag seeds. That wouldnt surprise me. There are a few things that can increase the ratio of females.I don't know if this is true, but I grow only regular seeds and increasing humidity in the seedling stage helped me get more females. man that is extremely crappy. Whats next on your grow schedule? Dont give up and keep pushing away. They all ended up being males. Cut down one like 4 days after this post. It took another 2 weeks for the other two to show signs they were male. I learned a lot though
Glad I could help. Patience and knowing what to look for is key. Now that i've seen pre-flowers first hand it'll be easier.Looking back at this thread there is a lot growers can learn on sexing plants
Not giving up, tis but a speed bump. I have 2 autos going and a regular Pineapple Chunk that i'm excited for, they are about 3 to 4 weeks old. Plus i have 8 pepper plants that are still young and one pepper plant fruiting. I've only been growing for about 4 months but I love it, I can't see me not growing something from now on.man that is extremely crappy. Whats next on your grow schedule? Early preflowers can have a few different appearances. Until you're familiar with them its important to watch for the first preflowers but to wait until they develope enough to be sure.Glad I could help. Patience and knowing what to look for is key. Second this. Plus to anyone who may come along later. You have time before the pollen sack opens. Waiting and keeping the plant doing well will still help gain experience and confidence for new growers like me.Until you're familiar with them its important to watch for the first preflowers but to wait until they develope enough to be sure.
totally. during spring i grow green beans, roma tomatoes, 7 types of raspberries, cilantro, strawberries and cucumbers and of course the best plants in the world...Glad I could help. Patience and knowing what to look for is key. Now that i've seen pre-flowers first hand it'll be easier.

ON the same note, I think I may have a plant with both pistols (showing for sure) but cant tell if these are balls or not so going to wait it out another week or so to make sure. the plant looks female but i may be wrong. it is also one that I know i stunted so that may have something to do with the possible male/female parts.
The conversation moved onto imperfect preflowers, my advice is to wait for perfect flowers.Boy all day.crab claws give it away.females will look like spades
I don't see any male flowers but it does look like it may be doing a bit of a reveg thing.Alien v Triangle - Pics aren’t the greatest...i know there are pistols showing...I’m just stuck on if it is also showing male parts as well....
