I am figuring that out myself now but best I can tell is that after you use a butane extractor you put it in here and let it sit. the thc a sinks to the bottom and forms diamonds and the terpene oil rises to the top. I believe the pressure build up from evaporating butane helps the processes.
you can build one much cheaper! this is the same 4in splatter platter, gauge and valve just a different center sight and no sight glass on the lid.

that gauge only goes up to 150, I thought it took more pressure for diamonds to form Like a mountain rubbing against itself or something.
people are making it in glass mason jars, don't think pressures are going over 30psi. I was told you put it in the machine while it is a thick syrup consistency and it separates.

Not in a vac. in a jar or a pressure vessel. the pressure rises from evaporation in a sealed container and it separates over time. Nothing to do with the vacuum oven. Check out Docs dank seeds, he has it down and told me you put in in when it's like syrup. that's it.

Inless your running pristine material thru a cryo column there will be too high fat content for the thca to seed or catalyst. You would have to put distillate or high grade shatter in there for this process to work. Additionaly temperature is key when trying to crystallize aswell as pressure and the tools to properly use this piece of equipment is not included
it is being made in mason jars, you don't need much to use it. winterizing is easy. I can also dewax with the dewaxing column on my extractor. buchner funnel can be had for about $40

I believe you will not get results u expect. You will have a shatter constitution not clear crystals. Please post pictures and explanation if you are successful in your processes. Ive only seen true crystals from c02 extractions and hexane crashing from raw slurrys. If this can be done so easy why isnt every dispensary or person doin it

Not going for crystal and necessarily going for clear either but diamonds.
I will get the results I expect once I try to use it. My friends make it and have no problem helping me make it. I just haven't had time to mess with it yet.
As I said, it is made in mason jars and does not require much to make. more people aren't making it for the same reason they aren't growing or aren't making any other type of extract, they can't or don't have the knowledge. or like me just dont have the time yet. just because everyone isn't doing it doesn't mean it is hard... people look at the mason jars and thin it was transferred into it for storage, it was made in the mason jar. Best value vaca offers an $850 option that also scares prople away thinking they have to spend $1000 to make it.

it's not wax either. the stuff in the picture was made from a live rosin batch that was dewaxed.

Diamonds implies differnt substance. ive known what u just showed a picture of to be suger butter or live resin even in ur linked picture its referenced as live resin?. Not ever heard of it referred to as "diamonds" really wish someone from bvv would chime in give us some real insight. Dont seal purging butane or propane if theres alot in said "mason jars" it will explode cause u harm. Be safe.
it says live resin diamonds. diamonds made from live resin starting material. I wouldn't seal any expanding gas in a mason jar... that's why I bought the diamond miner.
the people at best value vac don't give full details on it's usage. After I make time to use it I will report back how it is used.
