They use some of this guy's data

I did not say that Bernie was the only reason that she lost. I don't believe that to be true.

The sex card works both ways, most likely against her; please understand that it is not a common theme of women who have overcome gender barriers to lead any of the G7 Nations to focus on the fact that they are women.
-find me an example of Theresa May asking for votes because she is a woman. One will do
-Angela Merkel is an even better example, she's always avoided bringing her gender up and has gone to great lengths to avoid it becoming a campaign issue whatsoever.

So when you speak of "spinning a story that ignores" you're talking about you not mentioning the numbers that I posted aren't you? Do you remember "the math doesn't lie"? Have I fulfilled that curiousity yet?

I am not saying what you are. I am saying that election with a millions of voters, outcomes can come down to a couple thousand vote difference. If that. Those are the votes that pick winners.
You seem preoccupied, mentioning about why everyone voted and for whom and why. I am unsure as to why you would bring up the popular vote, we both know that doesn't elect Presidents, silly:mrgreen:

Back to what i thought we were talking about.
I am saying that some basic math shows how Bernie voters affected the outcome in the swing states. Are you doubting that, looking at those numbers?
In a close election, especially one decided by the EC and not a majority vote, all the reasons and factors matter. In ranked order of importance by size of effect on overall vote, the choice of a few berners to vote for Trump is very small. The largest factor that drew voters to Trump was his racist and sexist rhetoric and policies. If you want to point at a reason why people didn't go for Clinton, that would be sexism and about 20 years of slime cast her way by right wingers.

Sanders receives more support from African American voters than white voters

Do you deny that fact?
I never denied what your 8 month old poll was saying.

1. If you were as smart as you think you are, you'd know online polls aren't accurate.
http://www.pewresearch.org/2010/12/29/how-accurate-are-online-polls/

2. The polls don’t specifically ask respondents for their favorite politician -- they provide a limited list of political figures and ask respondents whether they have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of each one.

3. You have continually posted the result of the poll from April of this year. They have the worthless fucking thing every month, but you like April because Bernie's overall popularity was much higher then. If you're tired of being corrected, post the current month.

You are being very consistent in your view of the South.

Isn't it more like: "a southern white conservative's morality is exactly skin deep"?

Almost half of the population of Alabama and practically all the eligible black voters in Alabama voted for Jones. In an interview with NPR, one of the black activists behind that result gave her reasons why there was such a good turnout among black voters. Her reasons were political and economic, not moral. One more time we have an example of a berner overlooking black people and their issues.
The point I'm trying to make is that southern people care about race. I'm not saying all if them are racist, it even all if any given ethnic group.

I'm saying that their attitude about race is a good determinant of their ethics, not the other way around.

Sorry about belaboring a point.

Do you really mean "southern people" as in all, black, white and other?

Surely you don't think the 60-plus percentage of white people who voted for Moore were doing so because they thought he was going to represent all people of Alabama?

I meant all people.

And I think you and I see that 60 percent vote the same way.

Racists view the world no than skin deep.

Non racists realize that just looking at skin color is a mistake.

I was trying to be pithy and it seems I came off just plain vague...

@Fogdog - so it is true! A pile of Clinton voters are still running around in circles...how's it going crunching those numbers you asked for, want some more;

Before you give me any more reasons why she lost, you really better check with her publicist and maybe even ask for some reprinting rights - I'm fairly sure a lot of those excuses would be in her book. Is it any good? Or just hopefully coming in your stocking?

Just heading off some more faux logic from @3.5 LMBS (by the way which is it? 1.5 arms or 1.5 legs? Or is it half a brain?)
So did you learn to make fun of handicapped people, or people who you assume to be handicapped, from your exemplary role model of a president? Or is that a personality trait left over from childhood? Either way I'm fuckin embarrassed for you dawg:grin:

"Here is your medal for showing up"

If that's what they gave me at a federal election, a participation medal, I'd be pretty salty too...but don't give it away just yet, even if it is Christmas. You might not even get one of those in 2020, with all of Donny's spending cuts and all:eyesmoke:

It's been so long, I don't have any idea what you are crowing over.

I'm glad for you though. It seems that you need something to feel good about.
