ok so i have an outdoor heavy duty fruity about a week from harvest and i found that on of my top colas has had the top white pistils trimmed off..is this some kind of bug or a natural occurence?

Praying mantises are carnivores, I highly doubt they would eat your plants.

Try using some sort of oil to kill the insect. (A safe oil, not motor oil)

i did say the insect that looked like some kind of alin grasshoper was eating the pistils off my buds.
