Dear growers, can you advise can I plug 6 pieces of Citizen 1216 to MeanWell HLG-185H-C1400B Driver (Constant Current). Sorry for a dump question but I am a TOTAL noob in fysics so dont junge me hard . Thanks for all help.
If you already have that driver you could get a elg-100-c1400 for the other 2.Dear growers, can you advise can I plug 6 pieces of Citizen 1216 to MeanWell HLG-185H-C1400B Driver (Constant Current). sure but they wont light up
maximum 4 before you run out of driver voltage

Or get a hlg-320h-c1400 if your using ideal holders or hlg-320h-36a if you're using bjb holders or plan on adding more cobs later.
Even connected parallel?No. You need a 36v driver not a 48v.
i stand corrected. the Hlg-320-48a will work. Should of looked at data sheet closer. it will turn down to 24v if need be.I read from the description on cobkits.com that 48A driver, also works with 36V COBs like CLU048-1212 or CXB3590 at reduced total power output. What does the reduced total power output mean?
Do I need to dimm the "B" version somehow to reduce the total power output? Or what does it mean?i stand corrected. the Hlg-320-48a will work. Should of looked at data sheet closer. it will turn down to 24v if need be.
Do alot more research your going to hurt yourself. Watch all the growmau5 videos you can an then do another month of research before you touch anything.Do I need to dimm the "B" version somehow to reduce the total power output? Or what does it mean?
The driver will operate in constant current mode if you use 36V parallel cobs on a 48A driver. Power = Volts times Current. Decrease the voltage and the power follows.I read from the description on cobkits.com that 48A driver, also works with 36V COBs like CLU048-1212 or CXB3590 at reduced total power output. Less cobs, more amps from my understanding...If i run 3 citi 1212 36v cobs on my meanwel hlg 240 -1750 instead of the max 4 cobs, will it run at lower amps from the wall than if i were running 4 cobs?

Yepp, take a 6-8 CXM22 (50V) instead, they fit better to this driver.I do also have HLG-320H-48B but it does says 48V output, does it mean that 1226 does not fit at all?
What is about 1216? Trying to find this graph for lower than 48V, cant find it...
