I have since talked to him about the storm cellar. He said they built it around 97.

Alright guys here is just a rough sketch of what is going through my head as of right now. This may work, it may not... I'm not quiet sure.
This is my first idea so I am just throwing it out there. If you guys see any changes that should be made or if you see a totally different route of venting or just whatever please let me know. Like I said this is just a rough sketch and by doing this I am able to review and brainstorm the possibilities.

No, 1 strong fan and filter, split ducting. Or if you get a valve (I really don't know) that could flip the source, you could use a smaller one. Unsealed rooms need air replacement day and night anyway.
Might as well just go with the big one, will save you money. Get a large 1500 Vortex filter (you can flip the collars around and keep using them a few years down the line when they stop working well.

Also the exhaust needs to be vented out of the cellar otherwise your just going to recirculate hot air.

youll need a dehumidifier also. as the temps get cold and you running them lights that cellar is going to be invaded by critters

why filter before lights? should be on exit u need active exhaust or sealed up.run open hoods exhaust lights on, big dehuy no exhaust lights off, fuck the flip flop all flower small veg area [edit] also don't blow thur those lights suck thur

it might not be a good idea to put the breaker box right next to the intake.
you could partition off the area where your exhaust is to stop recirculating hot air.
and..i would put my fans where you have the word exhaust written in, pulling through my filter and lights both, instead of trying to push through the lights

I do plan on pouring concrete floors on my next run. On a budget and time frame right now.

True and I understand this to be true during the warmer months. But my whole purpose for splitting the two rooms through the winter months was to give heat from the active room to the other inactive flowering room while lights are off, then at flip flop time vice versa. That way heating won't be an issue.

I did not add a dehumidifier to the sketch I drawn but I am going to get at least an 80 pint. Does the dehumidifier go in the actual flowering room/rooms? Or does it need to be placed in the walkway "lung" of the layout?

My next run after my first harvest I plan on increasing the total wattage in lighting from 4k to 6k. For now I am being conservative on my cash flow. This room is actually perpetual. These are two flower rooms. In a separate location I have a good sized veg room dedicated completely to vegging and a little breeding I will be working on soon. So there will be a harvest every 60 to 70 days give or take.

That's the way I have always ran my tents for the last 6 years and it had worked Well, however I have been thinking on doing the venting differently like you have recommended in your post. My whole reason for the flip flop is to give the lights off room heat from the lights on room then vice versa once the lights switch up. This will save me a good amount on heating costs.

This is good information. I will likely take your advice like I said this is just a ruff brain storm. Nothing permanent and I will likely take that route. I am lost on the venting to be honest, I am used to growing in multiple tents my whole life and outdoors.

You can see in my sketch pretty much how the whole thing is laid out and where the room will be split. Just got to figure out my venting and placement of everything. I am a visual learner, more so than reading. I can really get the whole picture, with a picture if ya know what I mean lol.

Since you have a great space and your putting the time and money into it you are going to want to control your environment. You need to be able to walk over to a controller and set the temps and relative humidity. Humidifier, dehumidifier, heater and fans on controllers. No matter what the weather is outside.

I was thinking more on what someone else had recommended me do and use the heat from the active (lights on) room #1 to heat room #2 (lights off) and vice versa when the rooms flip. That saves me heating costs, keeps me from running even more watts using a heater. This is my whole purpose for splitting the rooms in two.

I notice that they actually make a device for a flip-flop style grow. They are quiet expensive and me being non electrically inclined, I have no idea nor would I attempt to build a DIY device.
Why could one not just not simply run one room on one breaker and the other room on another breaker and just set the timer on room number one to 12am to 12pm and then on a separate line set room number two to 12pm to 12am??? What is the problem doing that way? I personally don't see any hazards or reason it would not work. What is the point in people using a flip flop device?
