Light leaks...

Hello all! I have a quick question. Im growing my cannabis plant in my bedroom closet (just started flowering), which is the only place i could. Being in the closet where i keep my clothes, i have to turn my lights on for a few seconds, so i can see what im doing. Will this hurt my grow at all, if i keep it to a minimum? I have a feminized seed, not sure if this makes a difference?

yes, every time u switch on the light it interrupts the dark period. Not ideal. Have the clothes more organised.

Thanks for the reply! I am definitely thinking about that, my only concern is that my plant will get too tall and i am unable to raise the light any higher and it will be right on top of the plant :/ Ive seen a few on amazon that go up to 80in tall, do you think that would be enough (on average)? I typically grow indica's so hopefully they stay on the shorter side.
