Ok, so this is my first grow Journal. I've been experimenting with bag seed and clones for the past year or so and decided to get some good seeds from a bank. I got some G13 northern lights, Paradise Ice Cream, and Nirvana Wonder Woman. I germed 3 Wonder Woman last week in rockwool and set em in a DIY DWC setup. I made it do double as an Aero setup with a pump and sprayers which i will set inside once I get some roots growing. If you look at the pics you'll notice I have Hydroton rocks in there, but i'm gonna switch to perlite because I keep having problems with red "dust" or dirt suffocating the roots. No matter how much I rinse them I keep getting this problem. I Have them under a T5 right now and will probably switch to a 400 MH in a couple weeks. Anyways, I look forward to any ideas or input you guys will have for me. Enjoy! bongsmilie

I have been wondering where you were at ?? good looking babies , I just sprouted one of them to, germed over night and has been in the dirt for one day and looks really promising as it has not opened but is growing roots !! I am subscribed for sure as my nirvana wonder woman will be about two weeks behind yours now and mine is in dirt so we will see who 's looks better , Good luck and great big buds for ya !!! have you looked at my grow lately ??

Yes I have been keeping an eye on it and it looks good! I just haven't had a lot of time to post lately. I need to get this going so I can quit my Job, HA! :-P

Just a quick update, I took out the hydroton and replaced it with perlite last night.. So far all is good, some roots were starting to show out the sides of the rockwool. I will put up some more pictures in a couple days.. :weed:

Well I started out with it about an inch below the net cups (14 Gallons). Last night I changed out the Res water and only put 12 gallons in. I have 4 airstones in there with a good airpump and the bubbles popping still reach the netcups. Now that there are some roots hanging out I can lower the level a little.. :leaf:

ok sounds good..you put the seedlings in the medium when roots are established or you just start them in there??i plan on doing a test run first with some free seeds than ill throw the feminised seeds if its good enough and i get the hang of it...

Well I started the seeds in rockwool this time, but i usually do it in a wet paper towel. I let them go in there till i saw roots then i put the cubes into the media and into the system/res, and so far so good!

my dwc thread is in the hydro section (big buddah cheese and ipot in DWC) have a look..
also got some more clones vegging waiting for the HPS to become available :)

My wonder woman seed died ?? So I started another one . It was weird as it started to push out of the soil and then turned brown and failed. But the new seed sprouted this morning ??? !!!!!
