suggestions on a tent

Looking at picking up a new tent sense my old one is getting ragged. I am looking to up grade but don't want to spend 400 on a gorrlia tent seeing as I've had nothing but problems out of the one I have now. So any suggestions on a good brand is more than welcome.

What kind of problems did you have with your Gorilla tent? Were they there from the beginning? If not, how long before they showed up?

I've got a Gorilla Lite (2x4) and a Secret Jardin (3x3), and I like them both for different reason, haven't had any problems with either. In short; the SJ is easier to live with (easier zipper, more access to the top area), but the Gorilla has fewer light leaks, and is a bit more rugged construction all around.

You're running the same one i have n some of the problems were there from the begining like The whole left side is a light leak the zippers are garbage and the Velcro doesn't stick. With that said those same problems are getting worse an I've had the tent less then a year. I have heated that the lute series is junk but now I just don't want to spend 4 to 500 on the regular gorrila tent.

I cannot stand the Secret Jardin tents. I would say stay away from those at all costs. Cheaply made with too much plastic. My favorite tent is about 10 years old now and not made anymore.. It was by Sky Enterprises, nice strong canvas cloth, metal zippers, etc. I had a Secret Jardin, it was crap. I now also have a Gorilla Lite, It's not bad, but I don't like the plastic zipper. I don't know if the more expensive Gorilla tents have metal zippers or not. But even without the metal zipper it's still far better than the Secret Jardin.

I say gorilla all the way. Ive been using mine for years now. If you lead with your thumb against the zipper teeth in front as you zip, I find this makes zipping easy. I have both the lite line (I use for veg) and the regular line. They all work great, I have 5 of them. Depending on where you live, I had no problem finding a few on Craigslist for stupid cheap, but everyone wants to grow weed here in Oregon.....Ive also had pretty good success with the cheap tents from amazon as well I use a 3x3 $50 tent that ive been using for a couple years as a clone, seed start area.

I have a Secret Jardin darkroom and it's garbage. Absolutely covered in pinhole light leaks and the reflective material is all peeling off. I don't know anything about any other tents, but I would avoid Secret Jardin like the plague.

Wow, I guess I've been lucky with my Secret Jardin, I've only had it for 3 grows (about a year), but so far I have no complaints. When I was looking for relatively inexpensive 2x2's for breeding I was going to get two more of them. I've had to disassemble and reassemble both the Gorilla and the SJ, and they were both pretty simple to do. The SJ does leak a LOT of light, but that's not an issue for me because my tents are in an out-building so when the lights are out in the tent the room is dark, so I forget that is important for most people.

I own a Secret Jardin DRII-120, had it for over three years and still running. It does have pinhole light leaks that can be dealt with, other than that it's a very nice tent.
It's the only grow tent I got, I started building grow cabs out of wood, it's cheaper in my situation.

I have 2 darkrooms and zero issues.
Curious if the issues are their lower line tents? I've researched Everytime and ended up back at SJ for the price.
