And people wonder whatever happened to living wages...
Don't tell the commerce idlers tax cuts are possible in the benefits package.
We'll call it a tax on taxable rebates. (corps love that one)

I admire your ability to poke such fun at the Trainwreck of our country. I'm sure it's good for your blood pressure, which is probably more therapeutic than anything you're likely to get from Medicare.Don't tell the commerce idlers tax cuts are possible in the benefits package.

Union jobs pay better. Why are you against unions?
You know your idea that what an employer and employee agree for pay isn't always fair.
You honestly think that without unions and minimum wages that employers would actually pay what they do?
No they wouldn't. They would pay less. They would take advantage of people willing to work for less.
Look back at how people were treated in the mines.
You're trying to drive by looking out the back window.Increased opportunity is often a function of a free market. Decreased opportunity is often a result of an unfree market.
Of course, most people have no idea of what a "real" free market looks like and instead cobble together a strawman argument against the faux free market / cronyistic blow hardian thing that exists today.
But anyway...here's a pretty picture for you....

Walmart doesn't negotiate wages with its employees. It's 'take it or leave it'. All the negotiating power is with the company.
This is why Walmart workers end up on food stamps.
Demand curve macroeconomics has fuck all to do with it.
That's all fine and everything except it really doesn't work that way.Increased opportunity is often a function of a free market. Decreased opportunity is often a result of an unfree market.

The people who accept the wage offered. That's all fine and everything except it really doesn't work that way.
I worked for minimum wage back when it was three something an hour. I haven't since.
A free market doesn't change that. There will be employers that take advantage of people.
As stated, Wal-Mart is one. There is nothing stopping Wal-Mart from paying a better wage.
The people who accept the wage offered.
Nobody who understands economics would post that particular graph for the current discussion.Increased opportunity is often a function of a free market. Decreased opportunity is often a result of an unfree market.

True. The people who accept the wage offered.
Don't bother, this idiot ^^^^^ thinks high fructose corn syrup is more dangerous than high capacity assault rifles.True.
I was just saying that Wal-Mart is free to do as they wish. They still choose to pay minimum wage.

Maybe I'm not the only one.Actually I'm looking down at the clusterfuck from outer space and wondering when people will figure out that switching who gets to hold the gun is not any kind of a real change.
You appear to be looking for the keys you dropped in the driveway in your living room, because there's more light inside. You'll never find your keys, but at least you might vacuum your soiled rug.
Walmart doesn't force anybody to work there, but your government forces you to subsidize their success, via licensure, regulation and public subsidies derived from confiscatory means.
Yes, I know, you don't know what I'm talking about.

Well, let's see; in the case of, say, Walmart; gain unfair business advantage by lobbying local, state and national governments for tax perks and special favors. How do you take advantage of a person if they have an opportunity to say yes or not to what you are offering ?
How the fuck would you know? You don't even know what one is.You are absolutely right. Your savior Bernie Sanders has no grasp on how a free market works either. Good point.
