Can I switch to 18/6 if I started with 12/12?

24 days into veg.
Started with 12/12 cycle because she was with a photoperiod strain which was in flowering stage. Now that she is gone (harvested) can I switch my lights to 18/6 for my auto? What problems/benefits would it cause?

Thanks for clearing it out for me. Normally a photoperiod strain would go back into veg stage if you switch back to 18/6 from 12/12. Thats why I was a little unsure how autos work.

I am not speaking from first hand experience mind you. I am on my first ever grow with autos currently. I am just going by the knowledge I've accumulated over the years about autos. They flower solely based on age, not the light cycle. So that is why I say it won't be a problem.
