Should I feed both Grow big and big bloom fox farms nutes? 1/4 strength or should i go half strength? 6 days after 10 gal flush and she's dried up! Im also using about a tbs of molasses for the mykos and a tbs of sea weed extract, and 5 ml CalMag plus by botanicare....I'm thinking a gallon will be sufficient for a 5 gal smart pot.Heres a pic of my GasOG waiting for some R.I.Uers to give some advice, cheersbongsmilieIMG_20171102_212833.jpg

My advice is to keep it simple temperature humidity light air earth, with those things in line you succeed. Less is more. Why did you put ten gallons through the plant? It's now showing a slight deficiency. If you're having a salt build up issue or some other reason to do that then you need to make sure you have an idea of how strong your soil is and act accordingly. In your case the last couple gallons should have had nutrients added imo. Personally i use sugars (molasses) minutely at all transplants and in the final feeding. What medium are you in? A gallon is alot to put in one plant for me anyway. I like them to dry out fast enough that I'm on a twice a week water schedule. One i only add the "no such thing as too much" stuff or plain water and the other is a weekly feeding. I always feed full strength and never see more than the slightest tip burn if that. If any other area of your grow is lacking however your nutrient uptake can slow. If you notice they don't seem to be needing for anything you can skip the feeding for a half week. If it makes you feel better go down to half strength and see how the plants respond. You're adding kelp? The seaweed I'm guessing is kelp.. That is best taken up by the plant in a 5:2 ratio with humic where the two is the kelp. That should be watered not foliar just to clarify. Did you add microbes to the soil or are you just trying to feed what's in there? With organics you can get a slow start, always take a good couple handfuls of roots and root zone soil from your last grow to mix into your next batch of soil ;)

Molasses is like a lead blanket for microbes. No good. Kelp, yucca, bone meal, plenty of better thongs for microbes to munch on. Molasses is good for feeding aact, microbes can make better use of it in a free flowing enviroment. Other than that, not beneficial.

Good to know! I'm glad I haven't added it... I went simple just 1ml of grow,1ml big bloom,5ml Cal mag, next feeding will try full strength..

I flushed it due to what I believe was a build up of salts, because I added nutes too soon after transplant onto the 5 gal roots orginial...she drooped up immediately.. The following day I decided to flush it out.She is still in shock mode, but dry !that's why I'm tripping on how much I should feed her..anyways I already mixed up a light mix of 1ml grow big,1ml big bloom, and 5ml calmag plus.

Youre going to have a long grow thinking like that. Salts dont just build up like that. What did the roots look like when you transplanted? I want my roots to fill the pot before transplant. Like full. I then give them a couple scores with a scalpel, puttem in new dirt and feed. Dont tend to notice a slump in growth. They pretty much pick up where they left off. Im not advising this but just saying, the droop wasnt from salt build up or feeding too soon.

Humidity, temp, airflow, pH...all on check,I can't think of a reason for the stunned growth and droopy leaves...new growth has not grown at all this week...all my other plants are doing great...

I used to use FoxFarm.

You know Big Bloom is kind of a joke. Read the bottle sometime. You're paying $14 for a bottle of 99.9 % water. I think it's a feel good product.
Yeah, your probably right...but I'ma noob so I got suckered into buying the trio.Next grow I will try different methods and bigger grow rooms.just testing the waters, if I likey I will make a forest!

Experience will be your best asset later on down the road.

Don't over feed, keep temps. under 80°, do a lot of reading. If you want to succeed, you will. It's not hard after the 1st week or 2. Looks like you're surviving.

You gave it one day and then flushed with 10 gal of water. If you didnt flush it, it would be fine right now. Droopy leaves means either over or under watering, more or less. Salt build up would cause ph lockout ie, deficiencies. Patience is key. Transplant, light feeding, dont fuck with it until its dried out.

It's been 7days droopy!
Itll be fine, just leave it alone. No water until its dry. As the soil drys out, the roots should start to grow. Right now they are starving for oxygen. If it stays too wet for too long it will become anaerobic. 5 gal is really a big container for a plant getting bottled nutes. I like to wait until the plant can dry up the soil in a day before transplant. I go solo cup, 5x5x6” square, 2 gal square for flower. 3 in some cases. E0158C31-3184-4086-B738-5699E1B3BC60.jpegThats what i want to see when i transplant. 9456B24A-EBAE-40A7-9AA6-DEA6F9A58E8F.jpegThats the plant pre transplant. 24-26” tall. I did prune it back quite a bit because of limited height in my tents. Ideally i need to be 18-20” at flip. Check out my grow journal. https://www.rollitup.org/t/bodhi-seeds-lemon-lotus.946638/
