Ive grown allsorts thanks to many many freebies but small illegal growers mainly like femenized because its easier to not deal with males.

The op from the first thread said it was a hermaphrodite and the first pics from it were text book male. It is clear from the op that the hermie assumption was based on these two irregular growths, the subsequent flush of female flowers and no further weird or male growths was the point at which you lost your gamble with me.
I also have a lot to say on these so called hermies but you have some belief that its down to selective genetics..... at which point id ask that you produce me a hermie free strain so this will be erradicated from the genus alltogether...
Obviously you cant and your methodology is flawed. Im not in some pissing match or ignoring anyone, im just posting evidence and saying your flawed, grumble grumble grumble democratic society and all

My methodology for sexing seedlings is to wait until the preflowers clearly show enough characteristics to make a determination. It's not very complicated and I've been doing since I was 15 years old.
In over twenty years I haven't made one mistake sexing seedlings. I used to try to id them as early as possible and then watch them fully develope to see the progression of the development of the preflowers to learn to recognize the different stages and to confirm my initial id but I haven't had to go through the trouble since 1996.

These plants are too young yet, at this point we are really forcing them, hence the weird growth.
These will never develop pollen or grow into pollen sacs, they will remain weird little stubby growths.
Even just viewing them on a scientific basis the best we could call them was undifferentiated.

Hello all I have a few updated pics. These pictures were taken 10 days after first post. The first two pics are the same part of same plant, second set of pics is a different plant. Any guesses as to their sex?

I've never seen individual leaves where I'd expect to see preflowers.

But that IS the spot where preflowers would form? Could something like over fertilizing cause this maybe.

It's not too unusual to see odd things like that and, yes, that's where the preflowers form. That's a male.

Doesn't look like pre-flowering to me, male pre-flowers are bulbous. Not to mention the leaves coming out of one, just looks like growth to me

Thanks for the link very informative. I'm going to wait another 2 weeks before i do anything drastic. One of the plants only has the one "pre-flower" looking growth shown in the pic, and it sounds like there should be multiple ones

When preflowers first show they aren't very consistent. It's definitely best to hold out until you're confident.

doesnt really look like anything definitive to me. maybe im bad at judging preflowers but ive had plants that i was confident about being male that ended up pushing pistils out of what appeared to be a pollen sack a few days later.
the males wont release pollen immediately so unless you are fighting space issues let em ride until you are 100% proof positive. it would be rather silly to kill a female thinking it was a male. im sure it happens more than we think.

Back with a few more pictures.
Its definitely a female i think/hope. This is the first plant from each set of pics, its also showing its sex the most . But I flipped all 3 of my plants this morning, they were getting to big for my tent. I also took 2 clones from each plant last night, only need one from each but i've read its not the easiest thing getting them to take. Does anyone have experience with DWC cloning. I've read you don't have to check up on your clone as much. I work long weird hours i don't want them diying on me while i'm away.
