CFL burned leave

Hey guys, I woke up this morning and one of my cfls was resting on my plant (not that old). The edges of 2 big leaves, and 1 small leave were all burned? Is this plant gonna die, and if not what can i do to make it have a speedy recovery? (besides moving the lights away, which i did). There are still alot of other leaves that are healthy and it was one of the fastest growing plants.

nah the plant wont die from burned leaves but be more careful..cfls give as much heat as an hid just in a wider area so it might not seem hot but they are..

Your plant will be fine. Clip the burnt parts of the leaves off, check the growth every day and adjust lights accordingly.

Are you kidding me? In my first grow back in march, I was growing in a 2x2ft closet. I had to push my lights into my plants for everything to fit in my closet so I can shut the door for night time. At about 4 weeks of flowering, I had the timer set and forgot about it. The lights came on and the CFL lights were pushing against my plant. It burned almost entirely through the main cola so that it was doubled over. I was in shock(and so was my plant!), but the damage had been done so I figured I'd make the best of it and see what happened. I continued with the grow and not only did the plant survive, but the main cola kept growing, albeit not as fast as the rest of the plant, but the main cola still turned in an impressive performance based on the catastrophic events that took place. I got about 1 1/4 ounces off that plant in total. My second grow I forgot about them in the closet and they over heated and the leaves crisped up, I then proceeded to over watered them and they didn't recover. This is my third grow and I'm figuring that I've got so much experience fucking everything up so bad, that this one I should have no problems yielding a ton of bud. Now I've got 2 mothers, 5 plants in flower at various stages and 13 in veg waiting for flowering time. Fingers crossed.

just leave it on there. If it was the tips of the leaves I'd tear off the burn but since it's in the middle just let it be. I've done that too, bummer, but the plant will survive.
