Impeachment and removal from office isn't going to happen until we have Democrats in charge of both houses. I'm guessing that Muellar is going to hold off making a final report on the Russian-GOP-Trump collusion investigation until after 2018 in hopes of getting a fair hearing from a Democratically controlled House of Reps.

He is unfortunately correct, at least at this time.
Impeachment is far more political than criminal. (Although in this case, it's both).
Still, you need votes to succeed.
There are a lot of closed mouth republicans who privately admit Trump's a dangerous person. One can only hope a significant percentage flip for the good of the country and all mankind.
Trump would kill millions to chase an approval rating. I guarantee it. He has no morals whatsoever. He doesn't value life, except for the gestation period before birth. The best outcome is a rapid terminal illness.
He's got to go. North Korea is threatening an open air H bomb test.
And we all know who is actually responsible for that if it happens.
perhaps flake, corker and mccain have a little something in mind for our dear president.

It's not going to happen. Demanding impeachment is as much of a waste of time as Bernie introducing a half-finished universal healthcare bill.
And, I don't hate Bernie, I don't even hate on his supporters, I just don't like some of them very much.

What I'd like to see is a younger person get some momentum.
None of the current front runners will be under 70 in 2020.
By the law of averages, they might not all be here by 2020. (Let's hope it's Trump if somebody dies!)

Politicians know that impeachment won't make any difference... at least to them. Keep in mind that the only reason they did it to Clinton was for personal gain- and it worked; he never had a friendly Congress again.
Pence would be worse for all those things that are most likely to be enacted; the end of ACA, abortion rights and limits to corporate power and personhood. And that's just the beginning.
The only way Americans will take notice and really care is when they find themselves hungry and homeless.
Buckle up, because this country is obviously too stupid to avoid a repeat of the Great Depression.

They aren't the house leadership. Ryan is, and he is a lapdog. They are merely senators, temporarily, Ryan isn't going to allow a vote on impeachment, and even if the dems somehoow force one there aren't enough republican votes to achieve it. And on top of all of that, there aren't 66 votes in the senate, even with the retirees and holdouts.
The problem IS the republicans. They won't be the solution. They win by dividing the dems. They win because a large majority of the dem party doesn't vote or votes for fringe candidates, and a lot of those who did vote in 2008 and 2012 would only vote for one candidate. That coalition was temporary. It's gone, those voters are not interested in white politics.
You elected trump. Now, we are stuck with him. Probably for eight years. Congratulations.
