I would have transplanted those deeper . Up to the bottom leaves . wait a little longer to top , and turn the tops into clones .

If i may ask, is it benifical for the roots too transplant up too bottome leafes?
These where 8-10 in tall upon purchase

I will wait longer thanks for the tips! Greatly apprecieated
How much do i need of a cut to get a clone going?
2-3 nodes worth?

I like to have 2-3 nodes between the lowest node where I'm initiating rooting and the nodes that are still part of the cluster of the top.

It really depends on what exactly you're going for. The truth is that you can top them whenever you want. The best advice I could give is to cut the main stem wherever it gives you the most tops close to the same height as each either to minimize apical dominance and develope an even canopy.

If you do this then you'll want to regularly cut back any tops that are growing out away from the average level of your canopy and stop about 1-1.5 weeks before flipping to flowering. You'll also want to prune out lower growth that isn't going to be a part of your canopy.

There are some strains that just really don't liked being topped at all. Some you can just top once, maybe twice. The only way to know is to do it.
