Is that when you take the big main colas and leave the smaller stuff to mature? Are you doing selective harvest?
Yupyup! If you have the time it's well worth it I think. Is that when you take the big main colas and leave the smaller stuff to mature?
If so, then yes!
Absolutely. I've heard mixed reviews on if it works or not, or if It's worth it, but I'm gonna give it a shot!Yupyup! If you have the time it's well worth it I think.
No, it's really an outdoor grow max. yield type tactic that was frowned upon by the local p.d. lol. My days of hiding and paranoia cause I had the nerve to grow a plant are over! 0-100 on the garden. I will def. be attempting the selective harvest. My new toy comes tomorrow actually. Wi-Fi endoscope for harvesting.Absolutely. Have you done it before?
Damn. That sounds awesome. I'm still in the stone age with all my shit. But this time around was so enjoyable I'll be stepping it up next season. No, it's really an outdoor grow max. yield type tactic that was frowned upon by the local p.d. lol. Did you chop any before the harvester got em for hash or something if that nature? Also, do you water less in the corn ? Do you amend it we'll big holes? Those look healthy, I hope you get to harvest the remainder of them!
I've been taking some tops here and there but for the most part I'm rolling the dice. I can't see chopping these beasts down just to get some hash. I would be sick if I did that only to see the field they were in stand, its gamble. I dug holes and put babies that filled solo cups in them, never watered once. Corn fields are money for many reasons as long as you have strains that finish at the end of sept/ beginning of oct..Did you chop any before the harvester got em for hash or something if that nature? Ima have to try some next year, the thought of not watering is intriguing, would you get rain every week?I've been taking some tops here and there but for the most part I'm rolling the dice. It was a wet year so I never worried about it. Once the field is nice and saturated it retains that moisture beneath the surface. The corn doesn't suck up that much water. I've grown in the corn for many years facing droughts etc. Sure a drought will affect how well you yield and yes the more rain the better especially in veg but I counter that with sheer numbers. What state are you in? I can give you better advice as far as eradication, weather patterns etc.Ima have to try some next year, the thought of not watering is intriguing, would you get rain every week?
I'm from Canada so theres a ton of corn, I love the thought of not watering at all. Will definitely be running some next yearIt was a wet year so I never worried about it.
