Well you can tell who the convicts are in this thread. I get to add more to my ignore list.

Instead of calling it progress in changing the minds of those opposed to legalization they complain about those going the legal route.

Bunch of cry babies.
Ill be civil with you.

First let me ask you, are you talking about these former Officers that up to a short time ago was convicting people for marijuana crimes.

Now see a legal way of Monopolizing the industry.
1) Retire and THEN become a cabinent minister..
2) Make Cannabis Lcbo type storefronts for Ontario or Make a monopoly for yourselfs.
3) Implement New Zoning Laws to make it Illegal to operate and dispensary.

Since you seem what to be able to answer, What happen to free enterprise. why cant there be guidlines or centers where cannabis could be grown freely by anyone- And if it where to be for sale , testing centers could test for mold and pesticide levels much like lps.

Im screaming because the general public is in the dark. Collen Collen; I would want jody emmery or someone to really get this out.

Free enterprise and Jobs for everyone. Where are you guys getting your
Bubba Kushes, Chems, Diesels , GG4 , Girl scout cookies , Cherry pie , ect ect.

I'm blowing a gaskeet eyes filled with rage:cuss::fire:

And then they sell it back for Rec. Rec..

Sure. Let's give it a run.

Law enforcement is just that, they enforce the laws that society has empowered the government to enact. More correctly it is the justice system that enforces the laws but the criminal element spends most of their interaction with the law enforcement officer and corrections functions. They are just following orders, you can't expect them to make a decision based on the perceived morality of a law since that is up to the courts.

Officers don't convict people, courts do. The courts apply the laws enacted by the government. They also have leeway to apply moral grounds and social normalcy to refute unjust laws. This is what a good defense will do and why you either pay for or know a good lawyer to present on your behalf.

The hierarchy of control goes like this: Society empowers Government to create laws judged by the court delivered by law enforcement officers and corrections. Taking shots at the delivery function does nothing but further the government's case against an individual.

In the case of cannabis use, the government is just following the will of society. Sorry but there are a lot more voting moms, dads, grandparents and socially conservative folks than there are black market criminals and cannabis culture members. Welcome to democracy, the majority wins and in this case the majority wants the industry cleaned up and looking respectful. The war that the cannabis culture has is with society and the continued battles with law enforcement further justify the negative association with the culture.

Like most people I don't care what you do in your own home so long as no one is harmed of course. In public, different story if you choose to go the disrespectful route and do things like exhaling into non-smokers faces claiming that it is your right to do so. That is a fairly common position of most law abiding tax paying citizens and the requirement of government to curtail that behavior.

With that all being said it is hard to fault former police officers for jumping into the industry now that legalization is on the horizon. Many have probably been waiting a long while looking forward to the day that they can participate after seeing the results of the black market in their career. Free enterprise also applies to them so why should they be excluded from participating?

Regarding seeds I think we will see a lot of really cool new genetics coming out next year when legalization does happen. Many people who have been selectively breeding strains in silence for decades may now be willing to put their stuff out there. From a hobby perspective I hope to see seed exchanges set up to help further expand the gene pool.

Then why is the mmar or BM grower excluded? They have been waiting a long while looking forward to the day that they can participate in legal business. These cops weren't "following the will of society" - where the fuck did you come up with that? Close to 70% of Canadians polled in favour of legalization and we have the highest percentage of users in the world. We are the 'will of society'. They are following the orders of the people who control the money. You might be happy buying your bunk from the cop that busted your buddy last week, but the non ass-kissing public isn't.

The German soldiers in WW2 were "just following orders", just "enforcing the will of the people"...what makes poo finger think that people will think any differently about these gestapo who have illicitly used their political connections to try and get into the business?

I hope they have a stroke.

Ya PLUS even if you manage to survive Ebola, your organs are all fucked up, so you can't see, etc. Sounds good to me. No love lost for those pigs here after all of the countless families they have torn apart, and lives they have totally destroyed.

Having nothing more to do with it than a hobby. No different from how one grows their own food.

Basically an observer and possibly a consumer of products related to the industry. As a hobbyist I am willing to try new methods, sips rock! It is of benefit to me to have a large market with many choices and ideas for projects to pursue. When you get old it is important to keep busy.

Financial markets are there to play with if you want to make money. They offer far greater returns with much lower risk than this industry. The Vancouver real estate market is a good example that you should be familiar with.

You talking about the market that is untouchable unless you are a Chinese multi-millionaire? $1.5 million will buy you a lot with a tear-down house. If you didn't invest in Vancouver real estate 30 years ago,you aren't buying into it now. It is a great example of where NOT to invest your money.

The LP market is a sham...8-)

watch those prices fall as the shwag stays where it sits and doesn't go out the door..
I guess they can always pile it up in the vaults to perish, like the poison shwags should!
In four years from now (lps that currently exist)
Lets say they have
Five runs per year x 4 years
20 cycles they should have everything down.

You cant suck for ever. Lps are a machine, but who knows what the grower looks like.

They could even be reading riu. Im sure they have googled lps or themselves.
