Minimum requirements

This is the minimum requirement at a dispensary I stopped into this morning. It is not a script. It is what the City of Nelson requires dispensaries get from patients. The City of Nelson understands that not all docs support medical cannabis. The dispensary will not sell any cannabis products to me without....they'll sell me some tools though like a vape pen...lol...getting a doctor to give you a script for what you need is still the responsibility of the patient....this despensary is $10/g + and supports LPs...had all the things as far as concentrates go...BC is so far ahead of the rest of the country......

Interesting to see a municipal regulation, but I'd be concerned about a form with my personal medical information being available to a dispensary employee or a city worker. They are setting themselves up for lawsuits, imo. The dispensary here has only one requirement - you must be 19 or older. For a small island they have a decent selection of bud, oils, shatter and edibles.

Look at this oddly lax part of the regs. Five plants to get one gram. I guess it means one gram per day but still. What does it take to grow a plant, 90 days total let's say? Do you suppose you could get 90 g from 5 plants? Maybe small ones I guess.

The ACMPR also have formulas that indicate how many plants can be grown and how much cannabis can be stored, based on the daily quantity of dried marijuana authorized in the registered person's medical document.

In general, every one (1) gram of dried marijuana authorized will result in the production of five (5) plants indoors or two (2) plants outdoors. Individuals must indicate in their application whether they intend to produce marijuana plants indoors, outdoors, or partial indoors/partial outdoors. Individuals seeking to produce outdoors must confirm that the production site is not adjacent to a school, public playground, daycare or other public place mainly frequented by children.

Another weird thing is that you can buy seeds in a store without any kind of documents. That's a good loophole. Saved me shipping costs and waiting around etc. Viable seeds are still technically illegal. I guess not worth prosecuting for less than a gram of "marihuana" anyway, but the stores have a bunch of seeds in stock. Could nail them if they wanted to, for not even asking if people have a medical exemption first. Supposedly, you have to get seeds or clones from LPs exclusively. That hydro store ain't an LP. Anyway, got my Dinafem OG seeds, $41 for 5. Dinafem charges more than that right from their site. Worked out well for me. Probably the last seeds I'll ever need to buy.

It doesn't say anywhere on my ACMPR Registration papers that I must purchase starting materials from an LP. It doesn't say anything about starting materials at all.
