Difference in smell glass or plastic

For most of my strains that I grow out, regardless of cure or different methods of drying, when I pop the jar to the bud it's usually nice earthy chocolate organic smell, not really any bud or skunk to it. Then when I take just a gram or two and put it in a baggie, within thirty minutes it reeks and smells nice and skunky or sweet. Why the change? And why doesn't the jar bud reek.

Anyone notice this or have this issue... is my nose fucked up?

I've experienced it. The jar has a mellow smell. When a bud is broken up or smashed and it smells like a cross between a burning car tire and hypoid gear oil.

Funny you say that, as I'm rebuilding a top end on my dirtbike as we speak, thought that was my hands!

But yes , seems anything in the white family I get this, white widow crosses, old school white rhino, white walker kush which has the ingamar cut of white widow

plastic bad, it will soak in oils. left long enough it will turn yellow.

baggies are great, you look like a drug dealer but yeah acceptable in my book.

Plastic is a no-no as static pulls off the trics, glass is way better for taste, Coke proves that!

Trichs get crushed easier in a soft bag, it's usually in your pocket, so it's warmer, both release more scent.

Miss the old late 70's and early 80's when coke was okay...before crack even made the scene. Studio 54...I grew up in NYC.

So...what you are saying is that when growing in soil there is no need to flush when using mild (not extreme) nutes?
