Hitler vs Stalin. that's how stupid this is. far left vs far left.

good luck with that.
This isn't a case of one group against another. It's just one group of violent individuals who the far right want to use.

Nobody accountable for public safety said anything other than the fascists caused the violence. It's not Hitler vs Stalin. It's just Nazis.

You are a tool.

They aren't Nazis they are Americans, whose grandfathers probably fought the National Socialist German workers' party

It is possible to be both a Nazi and an American, as millions of Chump supporters prove every day.

So why don't you just come out and say you're one of them? You spend enough time as their apologist here that you might as well...

Two Men Arrested in Connection With Charlottesville Violence

This is a picture of your Nazis beating the horrible Antifa man who is committing the equivalent action of violently lying on the ground while the Nazis and KKK beat him into life long disability..

In that article, there is a video of a Grand Wizard of the KKK first pointing a gun at the head of a violent Antifa protester committing the violent act of breathing and then discharging the firearm at his feet. So, at least he didn't kill the man. I would call that an act of terrorism though.

The only violent group at Charlottesville were the Nazis and KKK. You are using the fake debate tool of a false equivalency.

You accuse me of smoking meth unfairly sir. I am this fucked up naturally. Well maybe some beer and pot is at work.

On the other hand, I accuse you of nothing but being an idiot and a tool. I don't have to reduce my argument to you being a tweaker. You are a natural born tool. I hope it's not an inheritable trait.

It's absolutely incredible to me how anybody can take the side of the Nazis and KKK in this.

As far as "numbers" goes, I agree, he's a poser and a sock. Why an Aussie would care about US fascist movement is where I go "huh that doesn't make sense". Doesn't add up. Bullshit detector on red alert.

Pathetic.

Should the rich be taxed more? A new paper shows unequivocally yes

"Hatgioannides, Karanassou and Sala seek to take account of these profound changes in the distribution of income and wealth. They do so by dividing the average income tax rate of a particular slice of the US population by the percentage of national income commanded by that same group and by their share of wealth.

They then look at whether by this measure – the fiscal inequality coefficient – the US tax system has become more or less progressive over time. The findings show quite clearly that it has become less progressive.

In terms of income, the poorest 99% of the US population paid nine times as much income tax as the richest 1%, both when John F Kennedy was president in the early 1960s and when Ronald Reagan beat Jimmy Carter in the 1980 race for the White House. By 2014, they paid 21 times as much.

Similarly, the bottom 99.9% in the US paid 28 times as much tax as the elite 0.1% in the early 1960s and the early 1980s, but by 2014 they were paying 76 times as much."

Without question...

The opinion seems to differ on exactly how much more.

No argument from me.

I'll bet the GOP/Trump/Wall building budget about to be drafted doesn't include measures to tax the wealthy.

LOL

Tell me more about how Antifa are such a danger to society. That guy the Nazis beat was sooo scary when he fell to the ground and went unconscious that six Nazis just had to continue to beat him. But you do have a point. The man on the ground was a black man. Scared the white men. So it's OK.

In Florida they could have shot him for scaring them like that.

Read up on false equivalence instead. You might learn something. Ok, probably not.

your agenda couldn't be more transparent. I would wear a t shirt that reads "fuck these white power nazis" at any of these protests but will stand on the side of the first ammendment.

Given up on false equivalence?

You've just circled back to an argument that has already been called invalid.

Where does it say in the first amendment that white men can gang up to beat black men unconscious and then continue to beat him when he's down?

The reason that rally was broken up was because Nazis and KKK were there for a fight. Not to speak in peace. If they had, they would have stayed behind the police cordon. They didn't though, did they?

Time to fix this. Our country's future depends on it.

Republicans are all for free markets- until a huge dying industry wants billions in handouts. Then it's rent seeking and worse all the way!

Will any of it help those most affected and least able to take the economic hit? Not really. Just another example of 'Listen to what we say, don't look at what we do!' total lack of accountability in American government.
