What does turning the lights off for 24 or 48 hours do to the plant before Harvest?Just curious.

I was thinking same thing. I thought it might speed up some other process in flowering before harvest other than trich production.

Nothing.

Nothing.

I think it gives the plant one last opportunity to use up any remaining carbohydrates. Also, cannabinoids and terpenes can be quite volatile at temperatures above 90F, so I think for most home growers additional darkness before harvest helps maintain those terpenes longer.
